Re: Loss of power

I have added a K&N air filter system, Gibson full exhaust, CDI, Monster Coil and my rhino now seems to have lost some bottom end grunt and take off. Any idea's why this might be or idea's what would be best to fix it. I was thinking about either adding a cam or dune kit sheave. Thanks

Re: Loss of power

Have you re-jetted? I have had nothing but problems trying to dial in jetting since I did intake and exhaust mods. Mainly altitude changes cause my problems now...

Re: Loss of power

I have the whole air intake thing in question. I too have modified my intake and suffer from the take off power. Without the carb and other ENGINE mods I really think about sticking with the stock intake and see if the performance comes back. I feel that the air intake is balanced with the vacuum fuel pump and more air makes it hesitate, ANY OPINIONS? :?:

Re: Loss of power

It may be loss of vacum. Changing any parts on the intake system can cause a loss of vacum which is critical on the rhino,s. Also fuel pump can be affected by loss of vacum.

Re: Loss of power

GIBSON EXHAUST? take a flat screwdriver to the inside of it. You will find your answer to some of your issue there.  roll
I bent the fins open more and drilled a 5/8 hole in the center, yes I did get carried away but it is VERY restrictive when you look in it. Now I would rate it up to it's performance rating. lol
