Hi Guys,
Im new to the message board and am looking into buying a UTV. I found cheaper Japanese made UTV's http://www.bestpriceatvs.com/product.ph … 269&page=1 but im a little leary of the quality of these. Do any of you own one or know if they are legit? Also, let me know if I would be better off going with a Prowler, RZR or Rhino. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum!
To begin I will answer your main question quoted above. YES, you will be better off without a doubt going with a Prowler, RZR or Rhino and I will add a teryx to your list as well. These companies offer better support, better product aval, and they are proven.
There are many other threads like this one in this forum so do a little searching and you will find some other good reading about this same question.
Good Luck!

Knock-offs will always be cheaper, but try and find parts. Most of the chinese manufactures only have a few select dealers in the US and now with imports from china doubleing in labor and freight you will be cheaper in the long run going with a name brand. Depreciation will be dramatic too just look in the classifieds on import vs brand name scooters.

I WOULD WAIT UNTIL THE SECOND YEAR OF PRODUCTION ON ANY NEW UTV, LIKE THE RZR OR TYREX. BECAUSE USUALLY BY THE SECOND YEAR ALL OF THE BUGS ARE WORKED OUT. THE ARCTIC CAT PROWLER IS SUPPOSED TO BE COMING OUT WITH A 1000 CC V-TWIN ENGINE. THIS SHOULD BE THE FASTEST THING OUT THERE & THE PROWLERS HAVE BEEN OUT FOR A FEW YEARS SO THEY SHOULD BE GOOD. CHECK AROUND & I THINK YOU WILL FIND THE RHINO IS A PRETTY GOOD ALL AROUND VEHICLE WITH LOTS OF AFTERMARKET PARTS AVAILABLE. JUST MY $.02.
