Re: Side by Side or ATV

I've been doing research on an ATV upgrade.  I currently have a Polaris Sportsman 335.  It has performed every task I have thrown at it even with its small engine.  My kids love to cruise the neighborhood with me so I thought one of the newer 2 seat, either side by side or conventional might be a good idea.  I have not seen much information on the web of the pros and cons of one over the other.  Aside from recreational riding, I use my ATV for plowing, seeding, spraying and pulling.

I would appreciate some feedback on which machine might be best suited.  I am currently looking at Sportsman 800 Touring, Can Am 650 Max, Ploaris RZR and I hear Can Am should have a side by side out late in 08 or early 09.

Thanks.

Re: Side by Side or ATV

Probably the wrong place to ask ATV vs UTV  wink  Maybe which UTV  big_smile
I am dying to see a Can Am, hope they produce one. I have never owned an ATV (motocross bikes) but am completely happy with my Rhino. There is a reason ATV's are declining in sales... everyone moving to UTV's. I use mine for recreation and the wife loves it too (probably the best part - we have a lot of fun together... side by side)

As for which one? I like the versatility of the Rhino and the aftermarket is probably by far the largest. I think the Teryx is very similar - I am impressed. The Ranger is probably better for work, but looks like it can still be fun. The RZR probably isn't much of a worker, but definately fun/fast.

Send me two cents  tongue  Oh, BTW - welcome to the forum!
