Re: Installed aFMF off of my Raptor on my '07 Rhino

Yes, but I don't think it is as loud as a HMF.  I have had this pipe on my Raptor since '01 and it needs to be repacked.  That is one of the reasons I put the flange on it, so I could remove it easily.  I will get around to it sometime.  When new, the FMF had a great sound and was not over bearing.

Re: Installed aFMF off of my Raptor on my '07 Rhino

Took it out yesterday.  It seems prettty loud but seemed to be like most of the Raptors that were running around.  Just not used to it after the stocker.  It seems to pull much harder.  Where I was riding there is not much open area to see how fast it will go but when I put the CDI on a couple of months ago, I got it to 49.  This time it hit 50 much easier.  Not sure how how may rpm it is turning and I don't want to break something by holding it wide open so I shut it down.  I would like to know how fast others have had theirs to compare and to see if I need to hold it open longer.  I had to cut the day short because of a small malfunction.  I had mounted the muffler solid without a rubber mount and the vibration broke the mount loose.  I was concerned that if I continued to drive it that it might break the headers.  Will be taking alook at it this week to decide how I want to remount it.  I also pulled the plug and it looked pretty good with the 155 main.  Probably will try a 157.5 or 160 and maybe go up on the pilot one step.
