Off Topic LA County Fire Fighters And The News Media.

I wanted to post this because Los Angles had there memorial service for the two Los Angles County Fire fighters lost on august 30th 2009 while scouting for an escape route from camp 16 during the station fire. My heart goes out to there families and there fellow fire fighters.

Ok now for the problem as posted below :evil: .

I turned on the TV this morning to watch the fire fighters Memorial service and I can not believe what I saw. Only one network broadcasted it and they cut it off half way through the service to play a poker tournament. I was so freaking pissed off that I e-mailed every network in the L.A. area and complained to them except for Fox 11 because I could not find a way to contact them. I guess they just don’t want to hear from anyone. It is an OUTRAGE that they would disrespect these fire fighter and there families and to there profession. Anyway this is what I sent to them and I am asking that you do the same as I did. These networks need to get there Butts kicked…..

I am writing you this because I am so unbelievably upset with your network that you did not have the respect to broadcast the memorial service for the two Los Angles County fire fighters that were lost in the station fire on August 30th 2009. You as a local network are a disgrace to the fire fighters of this county and the family’s of the fire fighters that were lost including the people of Los angles. I do not want to hear any excuses like there was no time to prepare or we can not change the program schedule to air it because every time there is a car chase you seem to be able to do just that at that time. It seems to me that the lives of these two fire fighters are more important then a card game, tennis matches, or paid programming. NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, KTLA and KCAL should be a shamed with your self’s. Whoever that was involved in this decision making should be terminated. I hope you think about what you have done to the fire fighters and there families that you have insulted on this day…….

Anyway I was able to finish it on a streaming website after “NBC” cut it off for there poker tournament and it was very emotional and well done especially the fly bye. It is a very sad day for the fire fighters and there families and a disgrace for the L.A. networks….

NBC4LA was pounded pretty hard on what they did Saturday by allot of people when they cut off the memorial for a poker show but they never offered any apologies or statements on what they did. I think i sent them four E-mails and not one was responded too as well. I am sure the fire fighters will remember what NBC did and next time there transmitter towers are in danger of burning down they will only put out half the fire headed for them. Anyways my thoughts to there families and the fire fighters of this country.....
