HAHAHAHA THANKS GUYS. I HADN'T THOUGHT ABOUT THE GIVING IT GAS THE WHOLE WAY. I USUALLY ALWAYS LET OFF AT THE TOP, AND YES, I'M JUST WAITING FOR MY 1ST SHOCK TO BLOW.

O ABOUT THE 400LBS BUMPER....I THOUGH ABOUT IT A BIT, I THINK I MIGHT MAKE ONE OUT OF SOLID LEAD. JUST TO SAY I HAVE A LEAD BUMPER THAT WEIGHS 400LBS....HAHAHA THANKS ANYWAYS.

I REPLACED MY STOCK LIGHT BULBS WITH THE HID HEADLIGHTS. THEY CAME WITH THE BALLISTS AND EVERYTHING.

THE PROBLEM I'M HAVING IS THAT I THINK THEY ARE GETTING TOO HOT OR SOMETHING.

WHEN I 1ST TURN MY RHINO ON AT NIGHT THEY ARE FINE, BUT AFTER I RIDE FOR AWHILE AND COME TO A STOP AND TURN THEM OFF, ONLY ONE WILL TURN ON. IF I WAIT ABOUT 30MIN THOUGH, THEY WILL EVENTUALLY TURN ON.

IS THIS BECAUSE THEY'RE OVER HEATING OR DO I HAVE BIGGER PROBLEMS? IS THERE MAYBE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE BALLISTS?

IF ANY ANSWERS FOR ME OR ANY SUGGESTIONS I'D REALLY APPRECIATE IT....

#126 Re: Where to Ride? » Dumont Dunes » 2007-08-21 10:39:45

Dumont is the ulimate riding place. You can do everything from extreme duning, to easy trail riding, and everything in between. You can then take off out into the open desert to break more stuff.

It's awesome, but the only down fall to Dumont is that you can basicly only ride there between october and april. Everything from may to sep is too hot. A normal day over there is 115 degrees, which would bake even the coldest running bike run hot.

I suggest going to Dumont atleast once. It's also home of the US's two biggest sand dunes, and yes, they are big and ver steep....

Well, hope to see you all over there....

I know that everybody knows what i'm talking about when I talk about the bucking affect of the rhino when it has the stock suspension. Especially when you jump, and how the front end loves to dive....

Well anyways, I jump alot, and my font end usually dives almost everytime.

The jumping and botoming out doesn't bother me, but now i'm rebuilding my roll cage and i'm taking off my bed to shed a few pounds. Now that i've taken my bed off and have less weight in the back, is my rhino going to do a front flip in the air or what....? haha I mean is it going to nose dive like crazy off of the jumps or am i going to have big bucking problems in the whoops..?

If anybody has done this or anything like this please give me some feed back. I'd like to know what to expect when I hit the whoop section out to comp at Dumont Dunes come this ThanksGiving....
