Thanks, to Jared for guiding the "hanging tree" (SOB) trail today. How much farther was it to the top? I just got rocked out today. Made it back fine, how about the rest of you?
With all the cameras rolling cant wait to see the video that I know is forthcoming. If any of you got some good stills of the 4, let me know, I would like to get a copy on CD.
Thanks again, good group to go riding with.
What are you replacing the Rhino with? I've always loved my rhino and couldn't get rid of it. Put a long arm kit on it and it is a different machine, can I say it out-performs my S on the rocks?!!!
What year was the rhino and what did it go for?
Assuming everything goes smoothly, about how long should the "out n back" take?
Sounds good.
I have a sony 1080p video camera that we use for my sons football games. at any point in time you push the still picture button and it takes a 5 mega pixel picture. Works great.
I will bring it to hanging tree next weekend.
I am looking at getting some aftermarket doors for my Rhino. I like pro armor stuff, but they don't make anything for the rhino. I found some Pro-One doors. Does anyone have any experience with them. Do they sit about "arm" level? They are not the suicide style, what about being able to get in and out?
Thanks
I will be at the San Rafeal Swell from Mon afternoon until thursday morning. Do we have a meeting place and time for next saturday?
Cant wait to try out the newly built machines!!!!
I am in for sure. 2 machines a RZR 4 and an S. Let me know the for sure the time and meeting place. Is there anything special equipment wise, I need to bring? Maybe some spare axles or steering arms? ![]()
Jared, you mentioned there was room for 7 machines on this ride. Do you know how many you have now? It's going to be a "night before" decision for me. More than likely I will be coming down.
I'm up for whatever, I like the steel bender/cliffhanger type stuff. I'm sure you have been to the san rafael swell, it is also one of my favorites. Whats your favorite ride down there? I'm checking to see if I can make the 26th hanging tree, (thats a 2.5 hour drive one way for me).
Looks like pretty tight quarters! Would a RZR S or 4 be able to make it? Looks like the rhino had a tough time. What time are you planning on starting?
I'll take you up on that. I can come down most any wednesday (the 30th?). I think you are about 2 hrs from me. Aren't you in Nephi? I decided to go the the san rafeal swell the 20th-23rd. Ended up on the Paunsagaunt and the Fremont trail this weekend. Wish the weather would give us a break, it was about 45 degrees and rainy.
I am looking at a Vision Wheel, "outback " model. Here is the link to their website. http://www.visionwheel.com/pdf/Vision%2 … 0Tech2.pdf The 14x7 shows a +2.5 offset and the 14x8 shows the -10.2. When I called Vision they said that basically the 14x8 had 4 in and 4 out. If thats the case, is that whats called a negative offset? And is that to wide a wheel to use on the front?
Thanks.
I am going to run the dominator from Superatv. I had a dealer tell me that a -10.2 means a negative offset, and that the front might rub. I thought it would be the opposite, the more tire and wheel outside the hub the less chance to rub. Maybe i am confused???
A question. I am wanting to put 28.5x10x14 tires all the way around on my RZR S. I have 2 rim options 14x7 with a 2.5 offset, or 14x8 with a -10.2.
What does a -10.2 mean? I want the tire to be as flat as possible, but dont want the front to rub at full steering.
What do you think?
Thanks
