Awesome! Welcome back...we look forward to hearing more stories and seeing more pictures soon.
Awesome pictures...we're considering.
The feedback indicates Mesquite will be our destination for the February trip. Karen (Ryan's wife) has a potential work constraint that may delay our departure by a day or two. We should know more tomorrow and will post ASAP.
BTW, do you have any riding experience in Mesquite?
You know I'll be there. I'm expecting a ride as well.
NEED I SAY MOREThat would be a hell of a Christmas present. Since I'm not 20 anymore, I'd probably need some instruction to figure out what to do with them though.
I wouldn't.....

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Contrary to your occupation, these two really hot gals would start so many fires, you'd never sleep again. ![]()

Awesome write-up and pictures Shannon!! I'm excited for a full, start to finish, book on your adventure. BTW, I thought this was supposed to be an offroad adventure, not a road/bridge building project that you have to pay for. ![]()
We would really like for you to join us in February. It would be great to hear of your adventure first hand. So far, it appears we're headed to Mesquite.
Enjoy and be safe...thanks for keeping us posted with the details of your journey.
Awesome!!
A good looking tree, nice looking RZR...RZR mounted tree.
The owners actual story:
After having used his rzr for the first hunt of the year, Earl says it has a mind of it's own. Every time it sees something on the trail it takes off and chases it up a tree.
If you're a real tree-hugger don't read any further. STOP!
Unfortunately a tree had die to rescue the rzr. We tried to winch it uphill but it was to steep and was going to do more damage to rzr. The hill was so steep we had to use my sons rock climbing rig to tie ourselves to trees above because we couldn't stand up without sliding down the hill. So we had to tie off to trees above and beside it and cut tree and ease it back down on all fours. It took us over 5 hours to get on ground and down hill about 100" to next road below. Then took another day 1/2 to get it out to the house. Broke steering rack gear, tie rod ,and cv joint.took rack out on the mountain and brought to my shop welded gears back together and tie rod and put back in and drove it out.
I'll get more detail from the owner about how this happened later.
This one is for Fastrax...Not ALL Treehuggers are dipsh*ts, a few are just unfortunate.

Mike...you are a lucky dog! That is a really nice ride. I look forward to seeing it next year in Moab.
I'm in Brad, do you think they will charge us for a two day pass even if we stay for one day,

Sorry Kyle...I don't mean to rub it in with some good pictures. Coral Pink is really nice...especially to avoid crowds during the Easter weekend. The photos really don't do it justice though. Wish you and Michelle could be there. You are great company.
Everyone: BTW, I have checked and their group site is already reserved for that weekend. Both Ryan and I have made our reservations. Arrive Thursday, April 1 and leaving on Monday. Cost is $18/night. They have showers, restrooms and water available within the campground...tent friendly.
Additionally, there are only 5 sites left. You better hurry and commit if your interested. These will go fast. Ph. 1-435-648-2800
Fastrax and I are interested in Coral Pink Sand Dunes for Easter weekend. I was there last Easter and it was absolutely awesome...nice dunes, a bunch of trails going everywhere and the landscape is spectacular. I am going to attempt to get the group site (Improved Camping Site) which would help minimize our costs if there is enough interest. I will let you know if I'm successful with this soon.
While these don't do the place justice, here are a few pictures from last year...

Even my dog loved it...

Please respond ASAP so we can plan. The number of camp sites are limited, but can be reserved in advance. However, this is great because it is not overly packed with people piling on one-another. I plan on making reservations immediately.
