I would go with the venom 3500# off ebay or their website. I would have Warn in a minute if they wasn't 450.00 in the dirt all the time. I have relied on it many times in the mud. The plow pins are 5/8" diameter and mounts to a 1/4" skidplate. It is the same plow as the American brand but made for Tusk (rocky mountain atvs brand). This is my second year of plowing my street and two drives, no breaks other than three winch cables snapped from the weight of the snow.
I would definetly keep the taper. I use a venom 3500# with a 15' vinyl coated cable. The winch will not hold the plow up with a 50' cable on it. The picture is only about half the height, more like 30" height. You will shame those with ATV plows, Gauranteed! ![]()
Here's the pics anyway...It will lift actually over 2' off the ground.

Has anyone else changed their clutch out including the wet springs?
Get the 60" Dozer plow from RM atv. I went all out with the tapered blade, flap and markers. It will winch about 16" + off the ground. easy on easy off with two pins and winch hook....need phot's let me know.

Utah is cracking down on many trails. I was caught on one that I ran over a log and on the edge of the boardwalks. It wasn't posted and I wasn't cited. They are posting them with a NO SIDE X SIDE label on the trail markers. All of the Marysvale side of the Piaute is still open to side X sides including Fremont to Marysvale on the main trail. It is VERY tight and you won't fit over a stock rhino due to the trees.
The Facet that BRP and pepboys has is between 3-5 psi. I think at times it needs to go higher with the RPM demand on the engine. At low RPM's looking at the filter it keeps up, when it is at a higher rpm its barely there. A regulator would work great I think w/ a pump running at 5-7 lbs.
I am not exactly positive for reasoning this. I assume this because a high pressure pump has not worked for others and a vacuum pressure would be variable to the engines rpm's creating the vacuum. The float and needle should keep this in check. It would be something to ask William with RAIS on another forum.
The electric works and was proven in the auto industy due to vapor locking issues. The problem is to much fuel bogs the four stroke engine and is regulated so it does not feed fast enough when throttle is added. The Vacuum type simply feeds the engine when it is requested at the prescribed amount. I am interested in trying both working together.
:?: I just ordered a Erlandson clutch kit. With the taller tires and clutch sheave, my speed is good but no low end hookup in the sand for climbing or snap from a stop. I am trying to decide if I should keep the stock sheave in or keep the KMS sheave in thinking I will gain some higher top speed. Any recommendations?
Direct off the battery and use a relay from the ignition to control it. I would recommend this for anything that should only be on when it is running.
Since my clutch change and cdi, I have noticed a huge loss while climbing to the top of sand mt. at little sahara. Has anyone else suffered this loss? I only had the sheave changed and not the weights, top speed was improved but would rather have the power to climb. Any recommendations? :?:
What a nice guy.... giving them a spot in the garage too? Must have a grand kid to allow that to happen! ![]()
We're not even redneck material...how' bout that! ![]()
SMALL WORLD! If your a sanpeter your related to someone in Utah. I used to camp with ol' Dave Peel out by the tracks on easter too. We have a video of a guy named Smokey (real name) that was from their too. ![]()
