Gotta love those rangers!  No, I 'm in the middle of a Teryx build and I've got to get rid of one machine.  My kids love the Rhino(i've done some clutching and sheave work, you should test it sometime),  the teryx is the new build-so that means one of the RZR's has to go.  I have both the 4 and S for sale, I like them both, whichever one goes first will decide which one I keep.

How do you like your 4?

I know, my boy ended up having a bye that saturday so we decided to do another family camping trip.  I would still like to do 5 mile  pass  on the 14th or 15th of oct.

I'm planning a San Rafael Swell (utah) ride on Oct 1 and 2.  This is a great desert mountain trail, with beautiful scenery.  We camp at a state campground (millsite), it has full baths and showers.
Nearest town is Ferron Utah.  Fun fall ride.   This is a picture from the campground.

Hey is anyone going to the San Juan Safari in Blanding?  It is the weekend before the Richfield rally, it has more extreme trails and best of all no trail width restrictions!  Here is the link for more info.

The trail system is based on the famous hook and ladder trail.  It'll be a good warm up for Moab this fall.

I'll be there Wed-Sat.  Got to try out my new Teryx build.

Whats the new machine?  Are you going to have to change your screen name?  I've had a rhino for years and love it, although the power of my new teryx is hard to beat.  If we go on a long trail ride 60 miles plus my kids fight over who gets to ride  in the rhino.

Yeah, we are talking about Sept. 28.   What about it, does Oct 2nd work for anyone?

#69 Re: Where to Ride? » American Fork Canyon » 2010-08-17 08:16:07

Yeah, those still work.  Oct. 2nd (a saturday) would work great also.  Should be a great time of year to take this trail!

Allright, i know it's a long time out, but lets see if we can make either the 29th, 30th of sept or Oct 1st work for five mile.  I can bring an extra machine if anyone would like to come out, I never know which machine works best and would like to see how 2 different machines handle the same trail.

#71 Re: Events, Rallies, & Races » San Juan ATV safari » 2010-08-05 07:53:31

Hey all, here is a link to a ATV safari in the blanding/monticello utah area (sept 16-18).  Just south of Moab.  I talked to the guys putting it on, there are extreme to easy trails with no width restrictions.
I am going to go down monday afternoon and make a week out of it.  The elevation is 7000 feet and is always 10-15 degrees cooler than moab.  This is part of the famous hook and ladder trail, they even have one that goes to moki canyon in lake powell.

Who wants to go?!

#72 Re: The X Spot » Hey Hanging Tree crew.... » 2010-08-04 19:47:38

OUCH!!!  Even though everyone in our crew made it up ok, I dont feel to bad about turning around at the base of that fall.  You never know when your machine hits its limits until its to late.  Hope everyone was ok.

Based on all I have heard I think I'll stick to the machines I've got.  "You'll have to pry my rhino away from my cold dead hands."

Thanks all for the info.

Jared, what is your price on a power steering unit for a rhino 700, and what is the availibility?  I'd like to do this as soon as I can. I can probably install it myself.
Thanks

I'm gonna try, its a 3 hour drive one way, and I'm going to Richfield for the UTV rally the next weekend.  Thats a lot of driving in 2 weekends.
Lets plan to do 5 mile in late august or september some time.
