Grandpa used to take us up by there to look for deer. Never went up the canyon though. I have to get up there this year! big_smile

Wales would be fun but I couldn't get my Rhino over there. I have always wanted to do that ride too.

EPI does some impressive clutch kits and know their #$%^

I'll be camped up there, right now its on the north skyline past the snowmobile parking but below the dugway. We wanted to go over towards millers flat but doubt we will find a spot. The Scofield ride is fun but so is going south. The south skyline still has a lot of snow and probably not passible for a month! I don't know hoe Ephraim is but I wouldn't be able to pull it off being North.

I will have the Raptor and a couple others with me.

I'll be up on top or over towards miller flat. I know Brad is game too. Let us know, the ride to schofield and back across the n. skyline is a good ride via fish creek trail. big_smile

#681 Re: The X Spot » Hiper wheels for UTVS? » 2008-06-28 08:44:10

What are these, solid gold? 1800.00 for a set of wheels w/o tires is a little spendy. I could have three sets of ITP's with terracrosses for that, with a lifetime warranty on the wheel.Humm! :?

#682 Re: General Discussion about Yamaha Rhinos » 12" or 14" Wheels » 2008-06-27 00:43:54

I enjoy the Terracross tires but wish I would have went with 12's instead of 14's to get more dome. The tires do hook up very nicely in mud and snow but seem very "heavy" in sand. If you look at the terracross look here for package deals, you may get a better price from them for calling and ask them to drop ship from ITP. http://www.187rideeasy.com/default.asp

Steadman's have been the top dealer in Utah and always will give you an "out the door" price unlike the stickers, and hidden fee's guys. Purchased five toys from them and never a bad deal yet. wink

#684 Re: Where to Ride? » Lake and Riding » 2008-06-27 00:31:34

You can always go carp skimming in the west side of Utah lake. There are trails there if you don't mind the smell of Utah lake mud! lol

Brad, You will have to call liz and charlies and get on a waiting list. When i called they had one rv spot but they will hold it for you if they have a cancellation. I was surprised they was already booked. Let them know you are with Mower. If If all else you can sleep in the garage again. July 22 Late until sunday morning. call me with questions.

#686 Re: General Arctic Cat Prowler Discussion » Arctic Cat Prowler 1000!!! » 2008-06-24 07:30:16

Can they do it with a 50" model?  big_smile It would be fast but now your messing with a Ranger size too. I want my Rhino to have a big bore kit that would put it over a 1000 cc, that would kick butt! Where's the doors, or the lawsuits?

#687 Re: Rhino Parts and Accessories » Best Winch for a Rhino 700 » 2008-06-24 07:22:04

If your going to abuse it with a plow go with a 150.00 4000lb Venom off EBay, seriously! I finally burned up the contact on a 3000 venom, they replaced it  even though I went to the 4500. I used my winch mainly for plowing and three or four times for the Rhino or retrieval work. Thw Warn is a very trusted piece and if I was going to rely on anything in the back country I would put Warn first, However the 300.00 difference in price to sit on the front of a machine is always getting muddy or in the water often needs to be looked at.

#688 Re: General Discussion about Yamaha Rhinos » WHATS THE BEST CLUTCH/SHEAVE MOD?? » 2008-06-24 07:13:17

Trying to go fast or for mud? I went with the sheave and cdi and was hitting 58, couldn't climb a thing after going with a 26" terracross. Changed out the clutch to a big wheel kit and it crawls like no other, however the top speed is 42 mph. My opinion, if you don't change your tires, don't change your clutch.

#689 Re: General Discussion about Yamaha Rhinos » Crunching noise from back brakes when stopping » 2008-06-24 07:09:52

It is the pads. After the great Yamaha guy at the UTV rally replaced mine they have never acted up again. I expect they will if I keep forgeting about the park brake.  lol

Anyone interested in Marysvale over the 24th of July?  :?: I am going to try and reserve a cabin and three rv spots for those that are interested. These riding areas around Marysvale are very scenic and are around 30 mile runs pending where you want to go.
