Anyone ever tried out "Little Moab" ? I am thinking of going out one of these weekends to test the Rhino's new belt and get my son some pre-Moab practice
Jared - have you waded through all the footage yet? I am salivating for some video ![]()
What an adventure! Wish I had the resources and time to go. Look foward to your blog - let us know where to find it.
BTW thanks again for the cage
Funny how things worked out - I was in Denver, Shannon in Utah, met in the middle of nowhere on the way home
Post some photos of your new cage when Marshall finishes it - I want to see your version of a "Jungle Cage"
I think you are going to be popular on this trip... only SXS... Dude, can you carry my stuff? Winch me out? Etc... ![]()
I have never considered Titans stuff as Spam.
You are right... it is "content" ![]()
Amen everyone. Like I have said before, this forum may not have the most, but we have the best members! As for Titan... I don't mind his spam  ![]()
Thanks Dale, checking out their site now...
Looks like fun, will plan on next year! Thanks for the video 8)
Very nice Darryl! Do the new seats ride higher? Is the cage tied into the frame on the rear? What is the stock travel on the XTZ? Thanks.
It is not super easy replacing Rhino belt, but very doable in the field. Just need the right socket (2 extensions) and a wrench. A lot of bolts, different lengths - same bolts can be used to compress the clutch. It is easier to remove the plastic under drivers seat, but not necessary. I have a (added) panel under the drivers seat (to enclose for storage) I had to remove. When I replaced mine I roughed up the sheave with 80 grit emery cloth (recomendation of some racing co. on line). I love the clutch on the Rhino, it is back to new behavior. You don't notice it engage and it will creep very slow. Engine braking (smoothly) all the way to a stop. My RZR engages rough and I can't get it to crawl like the Rhino. I have to assume the engaging action of the clutch is what is so hard on them. When you are crawling slow, it is constantly in and out - have to 2 foot it (brake and accelorator) to keep it engaged. Love the RZR but I wish you could breed
the two for a perfect machine! Will the kits you are talking about fix this issue?
I carry a spare belt and tools also. Have not changed my RZR S belt yet (500 miles). Just changed the Rhino belt at 1400/miles. New belt was 1/8 wider, works great. I hear that Polaris are harder on belts.
Sounds good to me!
I will be in Denver  (work)
i guess i am in
going to bring my fiance with me and problay cousin wes i hope. it will be my bachelor weekend since i am getting married on the 21st of november.
lets talk trails!!!!!
i would like to do golden spike out to the crack one day. wouldnt mind trying behind the rocks or some other new trail.
Woo Hoo - A bachelor party with Dancing Girls  I guess that won't happen with your fiance in tow (and my wife too)
Congrats Dave - look foward to meeting her!
My Son, his wife and 2 little boys, also my sister and her husband (just bought a Rhino) are comming. They will not want to do any extreme trails. I thought Poison Spider/Golden Spike would be fun for them one day - can we do both out to the crack in one day? I was thinking I might want to take them on Fins/Hells one day - old hat for me (us)but new to them and a fun ride. I am game for whatever is decided.
Was your frame damaged in the roll over?
Ouch! Your cage did its job.
My only question is. How much bigger do side x sides have to get befor you ask your self, Is it a pick-up truck or a side x side?
What would be interesting is gross vehicle weight comparison! I would bet the Tacaoma is 3500-4000/lbs and the Ranger Crew 1500/lbs - you can't tip the Tacoma back on all fours with a few guys (don't know what made me thinks of that
).
