$519 to be led on a 100 mile per day trip where you have to share a room?
Waht a deal.
why did your rzr look so low to the ground in all the pictures? was it loaded with that much stuff?
Yes it was very loaded. And then it packed with about 300lbs of mud as we traveled.
Awesome photos and descriptions Shannon. Glad you made it back in one piece (and can still procreate  ) What and adventure! BTW did you get to eat the sacrificial chicken? :?
LOL, no but it was quite a ceremony. The shamman or whatever dipped his finger in the blood and used it to bless us all with a littel smear.
Awesome write-up and pictures Shannon!! I'm excited for a full, start to finish, book on your adventure. BTW, I thought this was supposed to be an offroad adventure, not a road/bridge building project that you have to pay for.
We would really like for you to join us in February. It would be great to hear of your adventure first hand. So far, it appears we're headed to Mesquite.
Enjoy and be safe...thanks for keeping us posted with the details of your journey.
We built MANY bridges, some we just said screw it, and winched through.
The RZR will still be on a boat in early February. It just loaded today and will take a month to get home.
I have at least two weeks work to get her back on track.
Whats the plan for Mesquite?
Yeah ground clearence is seriously over rated.
One guy with a very custom Land Cruiser 70 series had portal axels and 37 inch tires.
He rolled in a sopt I drove over, and he winched in several spots I cruised right through.
The RZR earned her place by rooving she was up to the trip. There were plenty of
guys who had serious reservations about having the RZR on the trip. Any vehicle that
cannot pull its own is a serious problem for the whole expedition.
At the end they were suitably impressed.
Hey I made it out alive. Trip of a lifetime and I highly recommend it to anyone who thinks they can handle it. Worth all the money and effort and time.
The trip was suppose to be 1500Km it turned out to be over 2100.
Thats about 1300 miles of some ass kicking jungle. I left the US on Nov 29 and returned Dec 23rd.
Seven vehicles did not make it, various problems made them drop out.
The RZR-S made it with only a few problems. LOTS of people did not think the RZR could handle this trip. They think different now.
Here are some photos.

I really like the Warn bumper. The mounting of the winch is much better up high and out of the mud.

Marysvale to Moab is just delayed. It was delayed until the snow lets us pass anyway.
At this pont I believe that is a Fall trip. To much snow up high in the Spring, too hot down low in Summer.
