If you was on main St. in Logan it would be considered a highway. They shouldn't be able to give you any static on the local roads other than Main. In Moab we will not be able to drive the main drag unless escorted.

You could always check KSL or rocky mountain ATV too.

Latest up to date info for out-of-staters for a letter asking about Street legal in other states to be used in Utah:

Thank you for using the Utah Department of Public Safety Online Feedback System. I've been asked to respond to your inquiry regarding the use of street-legal ATVs in Utah that are registered in other states.

Currently Utah Code 41-6a-1509(5)(a-b) permits the operation of off-highway vehicles that are legal to be operated in another state to be operated in Utah. In accordance with the mentioned code the privilege is granted with two requirements:

1. The street-legal ATV and operator are subject to all the rules and requirements of 41-6a-1509.

2. The state they are registered in reciprocates the same privilege to those registered in Utah (you would need to contact the respective states for their participation).

The entire code can be viewed at: http://www.le.utah.gov/UtahCode/getCode … 41-6a-1509

I hope this answers your question. If I have failed to address any portion of your question or new ones arise, feel free to phone me at (801)596-9248.

Sincerely,

Sgt. Jason S. Kelsey

Put some HID headlights in place of your stockers and you won't need to worry about any others. TRUST ME!

Ruthless has some!

Keep in touch if your interested. I have a couple RV spots left but for only two more weeks. This place is busy most of the summer since it is the "heart" of the Paiute trail.

You can PM me if you want more info.

I have the Gibson slip on system on my Rhino. I have been told it doesn't flow as smooth as stock but hard to prove. If I was to do it again I would most likely go with the complete system or the alba "magnaflow" system. Don't know if theymake one for the Polaris however.

LYNN

I wouldn't worry about it until at least 1500 miles unless you know you have abused it.

#475 Re: General Discussion about Yamaha Rhinos » Rhino Recall » 2009-04-30 20:52:55

I do agree that the nets would be the safest, most affordable feature they could add for safety, would everyone use them...NO. Much like the safety instructions and the seatbelts installed there will always be the person who can't read or to drunk to assume the correct thing to do and a bunch of lawyers that will gladly file lawsuits that contests the design of the machine.

Johns daughter may have still been alive if the driver would have simply abidded by the written postings that was installed by the manufacture. I can understand his desire but to go after the manufacture with lawsuits is wrong. He should be making sure his friend is responsible for his actions. Things would flow alot smoother in society if we would give input to manufactures with ideas and recommendations than money hungry lawsuits that only reap penny awards for the victims.

I don't like being the BIG opinion here but am getting fed up with our irresponsible society of today.

My newspaper route pays plenty too! (JK!)

That is impressive though considering a regular dump truck is around 12 yards roll It would about cover a complete Toyota.

Yea, that will help lift that pallet out of the back of the semi! lol

My f-350, Honda Cr-v and my atv's all have the same label in an abrupt turn that it can roll. Should the manufacturer keep adding things to make it safer every time there is a rollover? Nets would have possibly helped but think how many legs was saved by the doors and leg minders. The Rhino was intended as a utility machine like the mule and the ranger. When us yaahoos learned what else Grandpa's toy would do that is when the injuries started. Why haven't some of the other designs like the Ranger, Tyrex, Prowler and the china thing done anything to prevent injuries? This latest voluntary repair (not a recall) will cause more stress to hubs creating a larger danger than before along with the independent movement on loose ground. The Honda 700x has incorporated this and has been a big issue in the sand making it unsafe.
:!: What is the difference between my toys and someone elses is MY ACTIONS!  :!:

I do feel for his loss but we are here to enjoy the hobby and yes you can get hurt. I would have taken care of the driver to prevent this guy from having any off-spring of his own, putting a limit to rejects in our society. I drive all day and I wait for someone not following the posted rules to plow into me, what is the difference?

Every safety posting I have ever read around any machines has been written by someone that got injured doing it wrong. It should make you read a little more often and make you responsible for your actions.
 PROPER WAY TO DESCRIBE IT IS: Mishaps are caused from people not reading or listening and an accident is being in the wrong place and being injured from someones life mishap.

Again, I will allow to disagree with my statement but I was brought up being having to be responsible for my own actions. However, if you feel you have ever been injured from not listening, reading or maintaining the proper equipment or by someone elses actions, i would fear God!. I could go on and on!

Very nice! wink

You could always upgrade the speakers or the amp. The box is a great design.

Possible ride and jamb session this weekend?
