You can't go much bigger on tires without a lift since they will rub the fender wells.

2" lift. I wouldn't go 3" since you're starting to put a lot of stress on the CV joints over 2" of lift. And most 2" lifts are as easy as unbolting your shocks, bolting a bracket to the shock mount and bolting your shock to that bracket. Simple hand tools and a floor jack.

And Bigger tires. What 26" tires do you have that are only 24" tall.

If you got a 2" lift a 2" taller tires then you'd gain 3". What ever tires you get, measure them since you already know that ATV tires don't always match what's printed on the sidewall.

The first post has the new stuff in it and then check post # 72 it's got the link to where it's now in the statutes.

Looks like helmets now required, not sure about sandrails and Jeeps due to the 1000cc statement, no 4 seat conversions, feet must reach the floorboards etc.

I can't take my kids in the RZR at the dunes anymore?!

Anyone want to buy an XP4?!

Prefer somewhere in the Phoenix area. Shipping wheels is expensive.

Looks like these.

They are a 26x12x12 and I couldn't believe I found them it seems like nobody has been on board with the whole flotation theory lately. Nobody has a front sand tire that is tall enough to match my rear Sand Blasters (26.75 on an 8" wheel) and then finally Fullerton Sand Sports came out with a "Big Buff" to solve that problem but it's a 27x9x12. 9"! we're talking sand here! I came across a post by Unleashed UTV on RZR forums and he mentioned a 26x12x12 front buff so I replied and asked him if that was a typo or if such a tire exists. He confirmed and $240 later I have my tires. They are around 26.5" tall on a 6" wide wheel and around 26.25" tall on an 8" wheel. I'm gonna run them on 6's. Does anyone have any stock RZR front wheels laying around? I'll buy them.

Next to the Sand Blaster 26x12x12

And this is the one on an 8" wide wheel at 6psi that's why it looks a little flat and that's why I'm going with the 6" wide wheel to round it out a little. This is with 1.5" spacers, I'll need the spacers even with the 6" wheel just due to how much wider the tire is, it rubs the shock when turned.

Don't know of anyone personally but here's Air Raids kit. It doesn't look like anything other than the air intake so more mods would be needed for deep water driving. I've seen thousands of pics of snorkeled RZRs with pipes sticking out of the bed so I know there has to be more kits out there.

Yes it is liquid cooled and the rest are all just guesses from my background with quads and SxS's, 15-20hp, 25-35mph and yes the belt is enclosed.

We traded in the 2010 crew for a 2012 XP4 LE. Got the hard top full windshield and some Sand Tires Unlimited 26x12x12 Sand Blasters 16 paddle. The rear bench with three 5 points and the front 4 points will be in next week. This thing is awesome, Walker Evans is the man, I think the suspension is bettter than the Fox 2.0's on the 2 seater. I can drive this thing just like my dad's long travel V8 sandrail throught the rough stuff. Minus the wheelies of course. If anyone is on the fence about getting one, DO IT!

I've sat here for 5 minutes staring at the screen and I can't come up with an answer on which one. What I can say is I have a 2010 Ranger Crew and I love it. I've driven pretty much every SxS out there in the dunes and in the Arizona desert and I can't say anything bad about the Rhino. Personally I would remove the Polaris 500 from my list not that it's not a great machine but you'll never wish you went smaller. Both the Ranger and Rhino would do what you need and there are endless possibilities for accessories for both. I suggest go sit in both of them, open all the compartments, see how easy oil changes compare, and drive them if possible. See if theres a place you can rent one. Here in Phoenix there's a handful of places that rent them.

I can't answer your question but they sell high compression pistions for these and that should do the trick. My friend put some 10.5:1 in his RZR and it was a very noticeable difference.
