I have had my Prowler for a couple months and never got to really ride it hard. The other day I took it out and that thing ROCKS!! It took everything I could put it through. I had myself and 2 other friends on it, which is quit a bit of weight LOL, and it did great. I had 1 time when I had to lock the diff but once I did that she came right out!! Great machine.
Yeah, I think wheel spacers are a must. You only need them on the back though. I can notice a big improvement with handling. I didn't realize how much wider my front end was before a put these on. For only $75 and free shipping you can't beat the price.
I just ordered spacers from Hunters Works. I will let you guys know how I like them.
I am selling my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. This truck is sweet I just go married and now I have to lots of extra bills I have to pay for. Its an Atlantic Blue Sport 4x4, 5.7 Hemi, quad cab, 5 spd auto trans, power everything, moon roof, Big Horn package, tow package, rear sliding window, 20" chrome wheels, tinted windows, power seat, Alpine CD player with MP3 hook up, remote start, Flowmaster duals, cold air intake, and Mopar catchall style floor mats front and rear, just over 20,000 miles. I hate to see it go, but I will just have to get me another one later. Pics upon request. $22,000.00 or best offer. It does have a dent in the top of the tailgate, other wise this thing is beautiful. Will trade for older diesel 4x4. May be able to transfer 0% financing I currently have through Chrysler, $374 a month with 2.5 years to pay.

If you want heater quick I would say any truck stop would have a heater that would plug right in to one of the 12volt plugs on the dash. If you want one that mounts under the dash, I really don't have any idea. Maybe try JC Whitney or Ebay even. Good luck!! Heaters draw a lot of juice so I would check out what kind of voltage the Prowler puts so you don't mess up your eletrical system, just a thought.
Got it fixed. For anyone else in the future there is a retainer clip located in the outer spindle. You must use a air hammer and continuous pressure to remove it. Its actually pretty easy.
Do you all have any recommendations? Brands or styles.
Thanks Guys, I think I will get me a set.
How about wheel spacers? Will these cause any damage over a long period? Does these help improve handling? And are they really worth the money, I think the best deal is from Hunter Works.com
I am replacing the outer boot on my rear axle. Has anyone else done this? I am stuck and don't know if I need to take out the entire axle because I can't find a retainer clip or anything outer part of the outer shaft. If I take out the entire thing, can I get the boot on from the inner end?? I can see threads on the outer shaft, but it looks like it is pressed on and I don't want to damage anything by taking that end off I don't need to. Thanks
I replaced my rear parking brake, which was bent, and I cant hear the noise anymore. I think what was going on was my parking brake was hanging up. Thanks for the tips.
If I let off the brakes completely the noise stops. If I brake hard and lock up the tires the noise stops. Is there something I can adjust on the rear brake to help this?
When going down hills I have this awful clicking noise coming from tranny or rear diff. Is this the rear brake hanging up, is this normal? I just want to make sure I dont tear anything up.
Try this website. Something I think is very cool about this place is the fact you can ride your quad, utv, or dirt bike in town.
How about pipes?? Who makes the best bang for your buck?
