Great pics, thanks for sharing!

How long did it take to complete the race? Did the RZR have any problems during the race? Anything break, clog, go bad, need adjusting??

After a race like that you probably get to know your RZR intimately. What pro's and con's about the RZR did the jagged x team take away from this race?

Lion Cart, a sponsor of the forum, can get you into a good cage and seat package.  There are a few different options for the type of cage you're looking to get. Call (623) 451-2649 and ask for Terry. He's knowledgeable and has great prices. Tell him your a SXS forum member!

If you're looking for a stock replacement do a google search for "Yamaha Rhino OEM parts".  I came across www.yamahaofmodesto.com  which has the standard OEM parts selection tool.  There's lots of dealers that will sell OEM parts.

On their website select your year, make, and model then choose "Standard Footrest" in the assembly dropdown menu. You'll see something like this:

Sounds like you need # 7. The passenger side footrest. The site above has it for $63.67.

#372 Re: Yamaha Rhino Performance Mods » long travel suspension » 2007-09-04 05:22:17

I would suggest looking at the mechanics of the suspension. Look for a kit that relocates the shocks from the stock mounting location. You'll get better use of the shock throughout the entire range of travel when they are relocated further away from the frame. Also, there are some kits now that allow you to mount the shocks to the lower a-arms. This allows you to use a longer shock which provides some suspension improvement but also gives you more options when selecting which shocks to run.

There's a decent list here www.longtravelkits.com of Long Travel manufactures.

I'd say you're getting a reasonable price for Cali. They are a bit cheaper in the mid-west and eastern states still (Not much though). Their popularity in Cali makes the price a little higher.

#375 Re: Where to Ride? » Side by Side Laws » 2007-09-03 17:01:41

Are you asking about riding them on public streets?  In Arizona UTV's are treated like an other car or motorcycle. There are certain items you must have fitted on the UTV to make it street legal; lights, horn, eye protection, etc.

Arizona Statutes: Article 15:

28-892. Riding on motorcycle or all-terrain vehicle

A person operating a motorcycle or all-terrain vehicle shall ride only on the permanent and regular seat attached to the motorcycle or all-terrain vehicle. The operator of a motorcycle or all-terrain vehicle shall not carry any other person and any other person shall not ride on a motorcycle or all-terrain vehicle unless the motorcycle or all-terrain vehicle is designed to carry more than one person. On a motorcycle or all-terrain vehicle designed to carry more than one person, a passenger may ride on the permanent and regular seat if it is designed for two persons or on another seat firmly attached to the motorcycle or all-terrain vehicle at the rear or side of the operator.
