getting rid of your Rhino would be like buying a new pair of shoes, it takes for ever befor they feel right, you dont want to get them dirty and you ALWAYS want to go back to your old ones no matter how worn out they might be they just feel right

DONT GIVE IN TO THE DARKSIDE JUST BECAUSE EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING IT.  lol

Sounds like a rare case of spontaneous rollover.

Every motor vehicles is unsafe in the hands of an idiot. If people baned the use of every motor driven wheeled vehicle because someone was killed in a crash we would all be walking. Personaly I miss 3wheelers

Found this in a new cataloge from Chaparral. It doesnt have any sizes listed but track down a few of the listed atvs you should be able to get a good idea if it would work in a rhino. Or maybe the company could help out also.   Hope this is some help.

Rhino for sure.  big_smile  I live in Maine and all my riding is done in the woods and dirt roads. I have a 700 Rhino and it does very well in the woods.     Its not as wide as the other side x sides wich helps when it comes to squezzing between trees. I could be wrong but it seems like there are alot more upgrades for a Rhino than anyother side x side also.

Ok so im sure this moose is well over the 400lb load limit for the rear body.   I had a 185lb deer in my Rhino and it didnt even come close to squating the rearend down that far. I hope they didnt have to climb any hills.  lol

looks good. I like the extra head room. Are you going to put a top on or leave it open?

#338 Re: The X Spot » new guy advice » 2009-03-22 15:45:54

RZRs are nice i wouldnt mind one my self, but im going to say get a Rhino, it is sporty enuf to play hard and tool around on the trails but still has a larg enuf cargo box on the back to carry a cooler, extra gas all that good stuff you may need for a day in the dirt. Or an extra seat for more people. they fit in the back of a pick-up also, I carry mine in a Nissan Titan. They are not much bigger than a RZR so they still fit in all the tight trails. They do well in all sorts of areas that have snow, mud or sand and they have good ground clearance for rocky areas. I have an 08 700fi and i work the HELL out of it all year plowing snow all winter and mowing feilds all summer and lots of playing inbetween and it has done better than i ever thought it could.

So i say Rhino

The rhino may be out in the cold but he still cares enuf to cover it,  big_smile   but who could blame anyone for wanting a rzr and a rhino.

Finaly found the tire racks if anyone is interested, they have a few options, cage mounted, bumper mounted or bed mounted. One cage mount holds two tires.

I dont personly have one in my 700 but i know a few people who use Black Rhino and they seem to like it. They said it gave them more top speed and a little power. I dont know the real specs on what you gain. All i know is that they have not had any trouble with the Black Rhino so far.   I know that may not be much help but its just what I have heard through the grape vine.

How can they call a Rhino a motorcycle, it has a steering wheel and four tires. and its the size of a Geo metro.  That law should be put in the long list of DUMB laws the US has.  roll

I found this pictue online but it had no info on the rack or a web site where to find it. It looks nice with the bumper and everything in one piece. It looks like it swings to one side to open the tail gate.  If someone has some info Id like to know.

#344 Re: Rhino Parts and Accessories » Rhino Front Pre-Runner Bumper w/gusset plate » 2009-03-12 12:10:01

i was going to put a slug bolted in the ends of the front bumper and welded to the fender tubes and on the roll cage where the bars bolt together at the dash i was thinking some sloted holes in a flat adapter plate attached to the end of the fender bar. that would mean you only have to loosen the bolts to remove the bar.

That was my plan. If i had a mig and a pipe bender that is.

Take plenty of pictures, for the people stuck in Maine (like me). Id love to hit some sand some time but a few nice teaser pictures would be cool.  I just plowed 18inches of snow with my Rhino today, day dreaming of summer.  roll
