I am looking to get a GPS for my UTV.  Do any of you use a GPS with your UTV?  What do you use?  What do you recommend.  I have a Garmin Streetpilot for my car and really like it.  Garmin seems to make a quality product.

I saw the John Deere on the trailer going up the canyon as i was leaving.  Wasn't sure if he was heading up to ride or not.  How long did that take you to go all the way to midway?  I've ridden to the point of seeing Midway but ran out of time and didn't make it all the way.

I had a great ride up American Fork Canyon on Saturday on the Ranger Crew.  We had stuff going on in the afternoon so I was up there early (6:30am).  It's great because Tibble Fork is only 20 min from my house.  We rode up to Forest Lake.  It was a nice ride.  Then we went back to the main road and headed up to the Grave up near the top.  Great views up there.  I left my camera sitting on the kitchen counter so unfortunately no pics.

I saw a ton of side x sides up there.  Were any of you guys up there?

Where do you guys ride when you go up AF canyon?

I'm open for an early ride most Saturdays.  I spend most weekdays in Mexico so I try to ride early on Saturday so I can get the honey-do list done still in the afternoon.

#22 Re: General Polaris Ranger and Polaris RZR Discussions » Baby seat in a Ranger?? » 2008-04-28 23:19:07

We have put a booster car seat in our Ranger Crew.  the seat belts are just like you would find in a car, so if you can put it in a car you can put it in a Ranger.  Polaris does not recommend this.  When we take our son out we just ride on the the dirt roads.  There is not a lot of protection if you get hit or roll it.  I would not put a newborn in it.  sidexsides are great for the family spending time together.  We have 5 kids and  four 4 wheelers and they all want to ride in the ranger.  My wife loves to drive it.

I purchased a Ranger Crew right before Christmas 07.  I really like it.  It is great to take the kids out in and everyone can ride.  It will be nice this year to take out and explore.  If fun is your main reason for getting it I would get a rzr.  If you want to go anywhere with a lot of people get a crew.

Have any of you ridden near Caineville Utah?  A bunch of my neighbors are going riding with their dirtbikes there.  Is it any good for SXS?  I want to take the Ranger down, but havn't been there and want to make sure its a good place for SXS.

I am very interested in seeing what you put on the floor.  I have a 24' enclosed interstate trailer that I need to do something to the floor.  I am also looking at putting some shelving in.

can you make sidexsides legal in the state of utah?  if anyone has figured out how I would love to hear how to do it.  If not we need to figure out how to change the law.

#28 Re: The X Spot » In the mountains » 2008-03-02 02:25:39

Badley, Great pictures up American Fork Canyon.  I live near the mouth of the canyon in highland and ride up there a lot.  I haven't taken the Crew up there yet, just the 4 wheelers.  I'm looking forward to this spring/summer to ride up there.

Where are the pictures on the first link.  Are they above the mines on the way to snowbird?
