Sorry Jared....In Colorado this weekend. Defiantly up for your next ride!
Jared,
I think my skid plate is on it's last leg. How strong are the skid plates (the 1/2" think ones)?
Thanks for the video Brad, and the pictures Hickey. That was such a great time. I'm ready to do it again ![]()
Jim,
Thank You very much for the invite to St. Anthony. I very much enjoyed riding with you guys. Looking forward to doing it again.
meeting at 9:30 AM works for me.
Jared,
I would definatly like to go as well.
Jim,
Looking forward to seeing you at St. Anthony Friday morning. Sand Mountain should be perfect concidering how much rain we've had this weekend.
When I replaced mine I needed a 5/8" socket, 5/8" wrench, and a T-25 Torx wrench to remove the seat belt brace. Then a 3/8" swival socket, 6" extension, ratchet, and a flat blade screwdriver to remove the belt cover, then a large flat blade screwdriver to pry open (spread apart) the driven pulley between the housing and the roller pins (not on the sheave it self) to slip the belt off.
Jared,
Just wanted to let you know I got the new sprague carrier installed I bought from you today. Works perfect!! Thank you very much for having it in stock, and thank you again for all of your help today.
Brad,
I would definatly be up for a American Fork canyon ride. It is fun finding the snow level. I offen can't resist the urge to winch myself through the first one or two snow drifts to see how far I can really go.
PM me your number, or I can give you mine. I'm in for sure if your going.
I was planning on going out to little Moab this weekend with a group, but nothing is confrimed yet. If your going up AF canyon this weekend I could definatly be up for it.
We have a group of 10+ guys going to st. Anthony sand dunes over Fathers Day weekend (17th - 20th).
Let me know if your interested.
Plan on stopping by Little Sahara for a couple of days (15th and 16th)on the way, which campground should we consider?
Right now the Little Sahara Oasis Campground is getting renovated (kind of a mess right now). I've always liked the sand mountain base parking lot to camp.
At St. Anothony we stayed at the Desert Oasis Campground (now has new owners, and a new name "Idaho Dunes RV Park"). Everything from full RV hookups, to setting up tents (also has showers). Was a great place to stay.
Cool vid Brad. It's good to see Bob's roll again.
It was definatly quite the ride. I'm usually in a lot more control than that. I think the problem there was I did make that section 2 weeks earlier (one shot, with no help). It was the perfect line (and of coarse a whole lot of luck). This time I just think I had a little to much confidence going on. Oh well......ready to try it again next year.
Thanks Jared. I don't have any pic's to give you, but would defiantly like to get a copy of the video. That was with out a doubt one of the best trips to Moab I've ever had. To be able to watch everone I rode with on video would be a lot of fun to see.

WOW...Now I see why you were all worried about my left arm. Dodged the bullet on that one.
Thanks for the pictures. You were all great and a very fun group to ride with. I will remember that ride up Pritchett Canyon for a long time. Looking forward to seeing the video's.
