My vote would be Poisen Spider Mesa at night...I like a challenge!
Chris
Too rough and slow. Only challeges there are out
on Golden Spike.
Could take you out where I scared the hell out of the JeggedX boys.
It would a be a late night.
191 is a two lane Hwy and according to the law its open to us.
I plan to carry around a copy of the law for a while.
Lots of LEOs with their own ideas.
191 is a two lane hwy. It is legal if you are legal.
Only four lane Hwys are restricted. That means Freeways.
Hidden Canyon is..... well its hidden and If I told you it wouldn't be hidden now would it?
Okay I'll tell, but I swear everyone on the internet to secrecy.
A bit north of Monitor/Merrimack/Seven Mile Rim is a very cool horseshoe shaped
canyon with a sandy bottom. The trail is a big snake along a sandy wash bottom for
a ways that makes a cool night track.
Its easy riding. Should only take about 2 hours.
Here is the ATV video I made a few years ago in Hidden Canyon.

No doubt..you should come honky!
Chris
I'd like to but I can't seem to get out of Texas.
I did it once, its not easy but if you leave at night while they are asleep it helps.
Okay so I'm thinking a night ride to Hidden Canyon would rock.
This is on the north side, leave from the the Arch View RV park.
I am toying with the idea of rolling all the way to the Dunes?
Since I am street legal in Utah I might roll from downtown Moab. (How cool is that?)
Trying to gauge interest? Who wants to join me? Probably Friday night.
hey, just for fun I googled nov 15 2008 and found a few events going besides a Youth Soccer Tournament...

might want to read the fine print to see if they are on the same trails as us..
Hmmm soccer moms YUM!
Nice work!
But I was assured by many people on another forum that this was not happening to me so I stopped believing my own eyes.
the ok rv park is literally spitting distance from the arena where all doings happen.
Utah will be recognizing street legal OHVs from other states.
HOWEVER, only from certain states that require you meet standards similar to Utahs.
SO, you will need to check before your visit to see if your state has been added to the list.
As of today there are NO states on the list simply because there is a process of reciprocity that is being negotiated with several states.
Interesting, obviously this is taking longer to get rolling than expected.
I remember someone lecturing me about "hangin" with the industry media.
Now who was that?
PS: When you going to publish my last article I sent?
Good question.
I'd say the DMV is where you get it, but as for the test I have no idea.
Someone want to call the DMV and ask?
Now that hurts Chris... If its any consolation the colors were nowhere near as good as when you and I rode.
No action shots.
It was a great ride though.
I don't think anyone in this forum can speak for Side X Side Magazine.
Correct me if I'm wrong but this forum has no affiliation with SidexSide magazine.
