#138 Re: General Kawasaki Teryx and Mule Discussion » 2010 TERYX ARE HERE! » 2009-10-05 12:32:35

What’s New for 2010:

◦A new hinged, forward-tilting front hood enforces aggressive new styling, and allows quick access to the radiator and front suspension components, for easier maintenance and suspension tuning.

◦New, inset headlights complement the aggressive new styling.

◦A larger radiator fan helps keep engine temps under control in slow going, and a larger-diameter hose increases coolant flow and overall capacity. The coolant reserve tank was moved under the front cover for easier maintenance.

◦A new ignition cut-out feature protects the brake system by preventing riding with the parking brake on.

◦The tilt bed’s frame is engineered with increased rigidity for even greater durability.

◦Other minor modifications aimed at more efficient production and durability keep the Teryx at the front of the RUV pack.

We are always interested in the future of this great industry that we enjoy and came across this website and thought we would share it incase you have not heard about it yet.

In 2003 Yamaha introduced the Rhino 660 creating a new category of recreational vehicles for all of us to enjoy and recently there have been a lot of negative media and money hungry people out to stop the production of them.

Yamaha Motor Corp has launched www.truthaboutrhino.com. This new web site has been created to provide accurate information abaout Yamaha and its Rhino Side X Side vehicles to combat a recent flurry of inaccurate information and negative advertisements targeting the vehicle and to encourage Rhino customers and the off-road industry to show their support for the Side X Side world.

BTW Mr Kryptonite, I need a new horn.  I tightened the ground on the one I have...no change.  I've even found that mine won't even scare the neighbor's dog.  Can Ruthless Motorsports help me out?

No problem! I will call you first thing Tuesday morning to get you taken care of.  big_smile

what you got for street legal kits?

We have 5 different styles to choose from. All the way from box style lights to 3/4" LED light kits. All of the kits come with everything you need to become street legal with the exception of mirrors. There are so many different styles and prices of mirrors and that is why they are not included in the kit.

Here is some info on one of our most popular kits.

This kit once installed looks like it was there from the factory. No big ugly cheep looking lights that break easy.

This Street legal kit contains:

Four Small LED Ultra-Bright lights, 3/4" Diameter with panel mounting grommet
Toggle Type Turn Signal Switch, mounts on your dash, not in your way with Rubber Boot Signal Flasher
2 Signal Indicator LEDs, to let you know the signals are on
130db Horn, loud and proud, not some Tin Can Horn
Horn Button with Rubber Boot
License Plate mounting brackets
License Plate lighting
Plenty of wire to get the job done
Fuses and Fuse holders
All needed connectors
Detailed color diagrams with instructions

The first question we know you will ask is "Are these little lights bright enough?" Absolutely, we have already had our rigs inspected. These little lights are perfect for OHV use. They mount just about anywhere and you can gang them up and add LED's and make a sweet custom look.

If you have any questions about this new law feel free and give me a call anytime.  -JARED
