#2 Re: Rally on the Rocks » New for 2013 - Tech Trails! » 2013-02-07 15:25:30

February is upon us and with each passing day Rally on the Rocks is getting closer and the excitement level from the rally staff increases as we are ready to put on a great time for all of you! We have new things instore for you like an ice cream social and a night of show-n-shine among many other things including big ticket raffle items.

On-line registration is now open and the early bird discount ends February 28,2013 so sign up now to save some cash and have the greatest options for your trail selections. As the trails fill up they will come off of the registration form. REGISTER HERE! | Rally on the Rocks

All on-line registration fees include an official Rally on the Rocks event t-shirt dyed with real Moab dirt!

We are thrilled to announce that all of the obstacles are now open on Hell's Revenge!!! We have been patiently awaiting word from the BLM about this for the last few years. There will be a Hell's Revenge trail sign up that will not include obstacles like Hell's Gate, Escalator and the Hot Tubs. However, if you want to run these obstacles at Rally on the Rocks you will need to sign up for the "tech trail" Hell's Revenge run.

What are tech trails?
Tech Trails are for those of you that want to push the limits of your rig and your mind. These trails are among the most difficult ROTR has to offer. In order to participate in a tech trail your rig must have the following REQUIRED items and MUST pass a free tech inspection on site. You must have a long travel SXS, (factory long travel is ok. Polaris RZR S, RZR 4, XP, XP 4, Wildcat) winch, full under body skids, fix-it kit; air pump, plugs & straps, 4 point harnesses, 6 point cage. Driver and all passengers MUST wear a D.O.T. approved helmet.

Tech trails for 2013 include:
Pritchett Canyon
Area BFE
Hells Revenge including Hell’s Gate, Escalator & Hot Tubs

We do our best to monitor the forums as much as we can so please be patient if it takes a day or two for a response on here.

You can also call us if needed.

#3 Re: Rally on the Rocks » Maverick vs. XP vs. Wildcat » 2012-12-30 22:26:59

The Rally on the Rocks Crew does a shootout between the Arctic Cat Wildcat, Polaris XP and the Can-Am Maverick at Sand Hollow in St. George Utah.
We love all side by sides and have no bias. All tires had 9 lbs of pressure. All machines are stock except the wildcat (it has the wildcat willys clutch kit and bighorn 2.0's). They are all great machines and you couldn't go wrong with any of them. They all have plusses and minuses.
Part 2 is coming with sand hill drags and suspension shots.

#7 Re: Rally on the Rocks » THANK YOU for another great year at ROTR! » 2012-05-26 16:29:40

We would like to thank all of you for attending this years Rally on the Rocks! It was great to see all of our friends from years past and meet many new ones as well. It was quite a sight to see all of you lining up each morning and then head off to your trails.

A BIG THANKS to all of the great trail guides that make Rally on the Rocks such an amazing event for everyone. ROTR could not succeed without your hard work, vast knowledge, and great attitude. Again... THANK YOU! Our Trail Guide sponsor for this year was SXS Performance that presented our guides with a custom gear bag and some other great swag. Thanks for your support!

We would like to thank our title sponsor Arctic Cat for all that you did for the rally! It was a thrill to see all of the demo rides you gave on the new Wildcat. Your customer appreciation dinner was a great success and added to our event as well.

Thank You to Discount Tire for being the Official Tire and Wheel Sponsor at this years Rally on the Rocks. There were many folks happy to walk away with some of the best tires and wheels the industry has to offer!

How could you miss all of the Media at ROTR this year! You guys/gals were everywhere! From forum reps, magazines, TV camera crews and much more. We look forward to seeing all of your work hit the different areas of media you cover.

We also want to thank those of you who supported our great vendors at the rally this year. It was cool to see many of the vendors working on your rigs untill well after midnight each night. The new products that you had on display was nice to have as well. A BIG THANKS to all of our vendors and sponsors this year!!!

The dinner was a lot of fun and Pasta Jay's did a great job on the food. We had a ton of raffle prizes that we gave away at the nightly bon fires and at the dinner. A lot of you won big! Thank You to Take Back Utah and the Sagebrush Coalition for the information you shared with us at the dinner. How could we forget the excitement on the 2 little girls face whan they won a brand new KYMCO quad at the dinner. We are glad we could be apart of that.

We also want to thank the BLM, Moab City Police and the Sheriffs Department. Rally on the Rocks could not happen without your help!

We would like to get as much video and pictures as we can from those of you that attended the rally. If you could either email them to info@rallyontherocks.com or mail them to:

I could go on and on and I am sure I have forgotten many things....
