What all has been done to that red rzr with the girl in it?

So far the only things that have been done to it are 2" wheel spacers all around with offset rims, 5 point harness setup, and thats it. It was brand new right before this Moab trip. There will be some changes coming up real soon  big_smile  As for the "hot chick" mod.... it has and always will be the most expensive mod out there! lol

One of the first things we realized in testing the new RZR out before the UTV Rally in Moab is how good of a job the front swaybar does in doing its job. But in Moab or rockcrawling anywhere the swaybar has a negative effect and makes the RZR much more "tippy" than we like while out on the trails crawling around. We were curious how much drop or travel we would get after the swaybar was disconected so we did a little test.

We pulled the rzr up on some blocks that were high enough so we could measure the drop if any.

With the sway bar connected the tire was just over 5 1/2" off of the ground.

With the sway bar disconnected the tire dropped down to under 1"

With this simple test we discovered that we gained over 4 1/2" of travel simply be disconnecting the swaybar that would help the rzr be more stable when rock crawling.

It is simple to disconnect the sway bar just follow these steps:

Locate the sway bar.

Undo the upper and lower bolts. Replace the lower bolt and nut with the upper bolt and nut shown here.

You can leave this if you desire to reconnect the swaybar set up later. You can also remove it the hard way by removing the rollcage, plastics, etc or by simply cutting it loose with a cut off wheel and pulling the rod out from the other side.

After spending almost a week rockcrawling in Moab we were very pleased with the results from disconnecting the front swaybar. We watched how the rzr's with the front swaybar struggled with things we did not have a problem with. Its now up to you, keep it or leave it!  wink

#1399 Re: General Polaris Ranger and Polaris RZR Discussions » RZR Brake Pedal Mod » 2008-05-26 13:53:14

doesnt it weeken the pedal to much?

Actually not at all. The welds that connect the pedal to the lever are on the other side of the cut. I loved the extra room double pedaling in Moab and have not had any negitive effects yet.

I am going to be putting together a slideshow of the UTV Rally put to music. Anyone that is interested in having still pictures in the slideshow please email them to me @kryptoniteracing@gmail.com I know that there are a lot of pictures posted up everywhere but if you have a few specific pictures that you would like in the slideshow send them in. I am also looking for a few "nature" shots without sidexsides in them.

Thank You...

Also I would like to thank Badley "Brad" for shooting a lot of the video footage that was used in both part one and part two. That new sony is amazing! (now that we know how it works lol) We all really appreciate your skills.  big_smile

UTV Meyhem, I am looking forward to your footage/pictures as well. Your last DVD is awesome as well!!! Keep it up! It was nice to meet and ride with you and your girl.  big_smile

"Ya got me Dave?"

"Yeah, I got ya!"

lol   lol

I am still living that trip over and over.... It was by far one of the best trips that I have been on.  big_smile Ruth and I had a blast!

I think the "by invite" ride is a great idea and we should look into that for next year for sure for one of the days. That would be a WILD ride to say the least.

Timgco, when are we going back? You just say when you can make it and we will get another trip planned. I am already ready to go back! The new cage will be here tomorrow so lets go!
