Waiting on Big Pine. They put me down for four sleds without a deposit. They could not gaurantee me yet on the fourth due to needing repair parts and repair. Told me I am on their list to call if they build one or can have the one in for repair ready. I will call you both when I hear, Planning Thursday.
Well Big pine is working on the four sleds we need for Thursday. He is to call me and let me know and said I was first in line for them, we"ll cross our fingers and toes
I think you locals down there have more pull than the city folk that apparently bust up their sleds. I noticed you can't buy insurance for them. I'm ready!
I would love to be able to run my kid to school or to get beer! ![]()
The American Eagle plow pictured is the same as the Tusk from RM ATV. I haven't seen the winch attachment for it but should be avail from A. Eagle. There are holes for mounting. This blade along with the Tusk will give you max height compared to some others. The push tube design sits lower and only allows the blade to come up around 6-8" compared to 30" + on the A. Eagle and tusk. Definetly use a shorter cable to prevent your winch from un-winding. I like being able to "stack" snow rather than just push it.
I seen the Yamaha plow out to Steadmans while picking up my rhino for the clutch. I wasn't impressed with the temporary winch idea with a tie-down type strap as the lift. I have broke my 1/4" cable three times now and these break even easier. The max height for stacking snow is only around eight inches. It is a lighter blade having plastic instead of all steel however.
What was everyones plan between Christas and New Years? I was thinking this would be a good time. I have three good people interested on my end.
Where did the elements and hardware come from?
I split mine. Regional plastics will make one unsplit for around 70.00. I deal with Scott down there and he might give you ideas on hinging. If you need measurements and hinge info let me know.
You could try pelican point (south of Saratoga springs) or out by five mile just past cedar fort. I don't know how much snow would be out to five mile since tooele got 8" on Friday. Too cold for me this weekend!
Buggysunlimited.com or ebay. They both have them. I have only thought about them when I was going to try and get past the Utah government.....They said not a chance. Sorry, can't be much help but a linker!
good guess
Here's the link http://www.bigpinesports.com/rentals.php
Red....were neighbors! This is getting a little to close with relatives and neighbors!
Fridays or Saturdays unless I have some notice. I assume their around 150.00 for the day, do they have the gear too? I could check around town too but it would cut down the rental time. Big pine is at the base.
Just get it from the hardware store and hammer the ferruls and clamp on it. Yamaha makes a SWEET plow system but it's not cheap. I think RM atv sells a short cable too.
I might have to get hold of you sometime. Doesn't big pine rent? I have always wanted to see above Fairview in the winter.
