Josh, I still want a set for my 06' if you have on. Just let me know where I can meet you. I will pm my phone #
Welcome Troy. You'll put a bunch into the rhino just like the banshee.
The wiring kits are not a hard wire either. These are designed for the rhino
, with connectors for a clean install. It has the horn kit and LED turn signals that mount next to the headlights and use the existing rear lights. I am still looking at a "full" attempt at submitting one to Utahs DOT and Highway patrol. I need to get some 14" wheels with some DOT approved tires. I would like to be able to Rhino down for ice cream or a gallon of milk. I did see a Ranger go down 2700 west and 9000 south in West Jordan Saturday afternoon.
Just hold on for a few more days Bud. I am researching a street legal kit for the side x sides. I have located a manufacture that says that theirs is a precut, no BS wire kit. It looks like its a couple hundred but has everything but DOT approved tires. I will keep everyone informed. ![]()
I would recommend the 1/2 windshield or a folding windshield. The 1/2 will keep the dust from going into the cab and not make your view disrupted in heavy dust, many people have crashed because of that reason. I turned a full into a folding for my rainy and snowy days, most of the time it is folded down. Their are plenty of options with HUNTERWORKS windshield.
I looked into many winches for my Rhino. After all the research I tried the Venom 3000 for under 200.00 with mount. I WAS IMPRESSED. It held and pulled the rhino easily unless you had 40-50 ft. of cable on the spool. I burned up the contactor after 2 years of plowing snow and normal winching. Venom replaced the contactor and I upgraded to the 4500 lb. for under 180.00. Both winches operate perfectly and I still haven't spent the price for a Warn. How often are you going to use it my primary question?
Until I get somewhere it doesn't work I'll stick with the cheapest one.
We had some that passed us on Saturday out on the Hells revenge, they was from vernal area. On the way out of town there was plenty others too. For the amount of off-roading Moab has you would imagin they would develope a trail access system. The piaute and other trail systems have them. It's funny how one bad incident can make the whole rally look bad. Also, I need to comment on the vehicles that cut in while being escorted and the good ole' finger jesture from one guy... :?
This is where community policing comes in....all you need is a tag number or discription to help make a difference.
Why didn't this get posted on here!

Go with Jareds harness bar and the 2 x 3's. I have the Simpson setup with the BRP bar and it is a great, comfortable setup. ![]()
TOO much FUN!
Thanks to everyone for the great rally, was my first and definetly not my last. Thanks to Jerry at Yamaha for taking care of our machine issues and fixing us up with free labor and parts. Thanks to all the other sponsors, Moab city and the sheriffs that made it a great event. :!:
WOW... we pulled it off! I was REALLY doubting this trip do to cost and time. Now if I can get my work touched up and everything loaded now.
LETS GO!
What is the cost per night in the RV park? Showers and so forth I assume are avail and could I rough it in a bag?
MARTIN, still got a spot?
