that doesn't sound like a bad idea. I took it out last weekend and rode all night with no problems.. I'll be heading up to Glamis for about a week during thanksgiving...i'lll let ya know if i come across any problems.
my lights always worked when i turn them on, but after riding for a little bit when i turned them off and then turned them back on is when they didn't work...
If anybody up to meeting up one day let me know. I'm down to meet anybody else into the same interests as myself.
i tried the other key pad ones in my just now and they didnt work, but they are still pretty cool. Has anybody tried the reserve battery one?
Thanks for useful tips on cell phones, I shall also keep mine in my rhino for safety....
DAMN....that thing could really get the ladies
I was looking at this problem some last night. Replacing that fuse would prob work, but I was alsp thinking about the way they're hooked up. Of course they plug right into the stock lighting, but they do pull alot off of start-up. I dont think having them hooked up to that turn knob light switch is good enough. Not only do you have the HID lights turning on when you turn it, but you also have the brake lights too. So What i'm going to do is try disconnecting the headlights from the turn knob and puuting them on their own switch. Just came up with this last night, let me know what you think.... ![]()
We usually head to Dumont for T-DAY but we are still not sure what we are doing as of yet. Moab is the other location that is calling our name... I will let you know.
Well, hope to see you there. Dumont going to be a blast this year.
i have a friend who sort of made a custom bed. he did a two seater roll cage and took the stock bed off. inside of the tubing he ended up fabbing his own smaller bed inside the bed cage. It turned out pretty nice. Looks like it came with the rhino stock...
Who else is going? Anybody up to meeting up while you're there?
k. problem solved. when i installed the kit it worked great. but the instructions did warn about during start up using around 16 amps and that the fuse could possibly blow. i located the fuse for the headlights in the fust box next to the batterey and just switched it to a 20 amp like recommended and it fixed the problem. the 15amp that was in there was blown.
awesome, i will check that out right away. Thanks for help!
That's what my dad has on his rhino and has never had a problem. There's just something with it, and i cant figure it out....it's mind boggling...hahaha
NICE RIDE, I LIKE YOUR SEATS AND YOUR CAGE. HOPE YOU HAVE FUN WITH IT.
thanks for the help, but yeah i dont have an in-line fuse hooked up to them either.
change your fuel filter
It came with a metal type fuel filter. I put it on there so it has a brand new filter. Should I try a different fuel filter?
I have reversed offset on all 4 wheels and i think 12" wide tires all the way around. I put 1.75" wheel spacers on the back so my tires stick out evenly all the way around. All my tires are fluch on their with, i think it looks really clean.
Wheel spacer are going to put strees on the Spindles. After time the might bend slightly, but not enough to worry you. Trust me, my rhino has been through some sh*t. I've jumped it quite a bit and never had any problems. I've never heard of anybody else having any problems with them either.
They will also give you more stability just because it puts things out a little wider.
So I would say yes, they are worth the money....
goodluck, hope this helped you out in deciding...
