#46 Re: General Polaris Ranger and Polaris RZR Discussions » Has anybody gotten theirs yet? » 2007-05-23 07:44:02

there has been a recall on the steering rack, Probably be other ones to follow,as well as lawsuites from tip overs. I hate to say i told you so, but you never buy the first year of any vehicle for this exact reason, especially a POOlaris.

#47 Re: Yamaha Rhino Performance Mods » New intake by Fuelcustoms » 2007-05-22 15:29:55

ya, I checked it out,I was the one that told garrett the best part was being able to clean it regularly without having to remove the motor cover and seats. If it cuts the noise down and performs like they say, it will be tuff to beat this intake. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

#50 Re: Yamaha Rhino Performance Mods » long travel suspension » 2007-05-21 05:48:22

I have the rhinomafia kit, I bought it because
They race and win with  the exact same kit you purchase, They won corr this past weekend.
There kit is NOT +2 forward and back, which puts less stress on other components (I.E) steering racks and spindels.
They race with those parts stock and have had no issues with them even after hitting a 65 ft triple jump twice.
there customer service is unmatched
they build sand rails also.( must know a little something to do that.)
The top racers use fox racing shocks, that's what comes with therre kit.
kings blow for rhino's.
all positives and no negatives.

If you want a mts kit, lonestar is the only one to get.

#51 Re: General Discussion about Yamaha Rhinos » gas pump on rhino » 2007-05-16 04:27:18

the fuel pump gets clogged real easy, you should carry some spares. When you say explosions, do you mean backfiring when you let off the throttle???
That would be a jetting issue. Stock rhino runs lean

#52 Re: Yamaha Rhino Performance Mods » rhino exhaust--which one » 2007-05-14 06:26:32

without the supertrapp, it is louder than 99db, I'm sure.
I have a trapp on backorder and won't know the difference till it gets here.

#53 Re: Yamaha Rhino Performance Mods » carbs » 2007-05-12 05:19:02

I actually stood up for those stupid carbs when I had it to, the guy at the proshop, told me they trash all the edelcrocks that come in, and I was like, oh this guy is trying to sell me a new carb. But guess what, he was exactly right.

#54 Re: Yamaha Rhino Performance Mods » carbs » 2007-05-12 05:17:17

Umm  o.k lets see
stock carb---42 mil runs great with a little jetting
EDELCROCK--40 mil--going smaller is better????  they take a long time to get them right?? cost way to much for less performance.
Never saw anything worth while from the edelcrock, I blew through 3 exhausts before I put the 45 on. My rhino hauls ass now.
No 40 mil edelcrock is going to keep up with me.
