I took my Titan in for a recall a week ago and they forgot to tighten the skid plate on my gas tank. it was one bolt from falling off. even when it comes to recalls i wish they would just give me the parts and let me do it my self. wink

I think it ended up being $1500 off new price for each machine. The blue one had 2 miles and the black one had 6.

#51 Re: General Arctic Cat Prowler Discussion » how many hours is too many hours to buy a prowler? » 2010-05-13 21:08:57

It depends on how it was used and cared for. Some people could use it for just joy rides with very little abuse others could take it out and pound it to death in 100 hours. I have 1800 hours on a 2008 Rhino and it runs like a top.
I would think 1600 is low hours for a 2006.

First, welcome to the forum Jennifer, enjoy your stay, post up some pictures of your products.
As far as bumpers Im looking for something that offers a little more protection for the front fenders,
even if it has to go from the front bumper to the rollcage.

"(Just save up a little more and get an 09 or newer Ranger XP. They made some really huge improvements in it starting in 09,)"
what does that say about the 08 and older lol I didnt say it I just pointed it out. lol

I had the perfect picture for this but I think it may be a bit inappropriate, so Ill just say this,
Befor the Rhino came on the market all side x sides were considered farm and garden equipment. :?
The US Military also uses Yamaha Rhinos, John Deere Gators, Kawasaki Mules, Kubota RTV and Cub Cadet  wink

The decision is ultimately up to you but the specifications speak for themselves big_smile .

One thing to remember, all rhino 660 models are carbureted and do not have altitude compensation capability without doing a Jet change, That is normally needed above 7000 feet and they start to run real bad  .

1273267403611268.jpg   :x IS THAT FLAMING A BRAND THAT  I SEE, wink
REMINDS ME OF A POST ABOUT FLESH BURNS   AND OVERWHELMING HEAT.   BUT I'LL LEAVE NAMES OUT OF THIS.
big_smile  lol
Polaris Ranger, ooopppps  my bad.

Asking a question of what UTV is better is a loosing battle.

In my opinion I like the Rhino, I have worked my 700 like a rented mule, (just got a new 5 foot rock rake) it is extremely agile off raod in tight spaces and has a very dependable 4x4 system. I have nothing bad to say about the Rhino it has served me well. Rhino also has a ton of aftermarket parts and upgrades.

I stand by Rhino
With that said, good luck with your choice and keep us posted.
