Another report from Shannon:

Looks like the jungle swallowed the RZR S
Apparently he will be back soon, looking foward to more articles of his adventure.
Have not seen it yet - hope to get it installed over the hollidays if I get time.
Do you sell one that sits two people side by side and has a big motor?
(find a bicycle site nimrod  )
Not sure that upgrade goes with the bike Titan  ![]()
I will do either - I have free lodging in St. George
Always like Sand Hollow... what kind of riding in Mesquite? I am in for all you can eat Crab night with Jared ![]()
See the wet spot? I think he was marking his territory and got hung up some how ![]()
I am installing one of these (100CFM). Not sure if it will go in the Rhino or RZR S... probably the Rhino to keep the grandkids warm. Will post some photos, etc. when I get a chance to install.
My fault - I owe Jared some footage. My computer crashed, got a new one but have had to load programs, restore data, etc. Everything working now - just have to edit footage and get to Jared. Soon... I promise
I looked at these at a show and I agree - all John Deere, not a spin off. They look tough!
"This year nearly 300,000 people went. Next year the feds want them to pay more for the privilege." Privilage??? Uh emm, it is our land
Lets assume 1/2 of them paid a day pass 150,000 x 8 = $ 1,200,000 x 25 = $ 3,750,000
and 1/2 had annual passes 150,000 x 75=$11,250,000 x 120= $18,000,000
Total=$12,450,000 Total=$21,750,000
Anyone have a more scientific method of calc'ing this? Maybe my assumptions are way off, but I see an effort to double their revenue (in typical govt. fashion). Lets us see what the revenue is and where it is spent! How much does it cost it take to take money, build a shitter (dig a hole), patrol the sand, transport the injured, pick up dead bodies, etc. :?: There always seems to be 3-4 BLM people sitting around shooting the sh__ in the visitors center... maybe we should start cutting costs there  Maybe we should stop funding any B.S. research BLM is doing to protect the... umm... are there any animals out there?? Maybe flies
The federal Govt. can not run anything efficiently, they just keep wanting more and more money. The refuse to live within a budget like the rest of us, they keep overspending their budget, claiming a "shortfall" and ask for a bigger budget next year. This is just another example of how our Govt. is out of control - we need to take it back!
BTW - what are they going to pave and why??? It is a freaking pile of sand... what does it take to keep it nice - a little wind ![]()
Hey Jared, you have anything for the rhino's?
Yes, but not at this price, yet. Let me know if you need some pricing.
Will do. Might go look at an S here locally. 2009 with 100 miles for $12,500.......... :?
The "Dark Side" beckons...
CHRISTMAS SPECIAL! Jared, you always find a way to empty my wallet :?
Great products! Fit and finish is prefect. They are tough too, landed on my side mirror on a roll in my RZR - the mirror was a loss as it was bent the glass broken, but it saved a lot of body damage. My son rolled my Rhino in the sand - mirror rotated out of the way - no damage. I have the curved center mirror, and 2 side mirrors on both machines - visability is great. Also run a Ipod mount on the RZR S. Highly recomended products.
So, the complete kit w/shocks $1,949.94... I don't see any springs - are they included? If I went with the stock shocks (Sport model-gas filled adjustable)would travel be decreased? In your opinion would that be a mistake?
BTW - welcome to the forum David... glad you got past that "1 post wonder" label quickly ![]()
Dang! Great vid, looks like fun. I will be there next year.
Great vid as usual! I had forgotten about that trip... last trip before I got the S (in fact I think it was that trip that got J and I to pull the trigger) 8)
