Hey guys! I post over on atvutah.com a little and they were looking for some guys to help fix some fence and a little trail work. Mostly atv guys but they got permission for some sxs's to go if anyone is interested. It is short notice, they will be out there working tomorrow. Here is a copy of the post from utv utah. I would love to drive over from cali and help, this would be a good foot in the door for sxs's with this group  big_smile

"We need volunteers for a bit of trail fence work on the GWT North of I-70.

Those of you who were on the Big Ride II day 2 will remember the lookout point over Bull Valley where we stopped and Stan talked to us about a problem with the fence, ATV riders and the cattlemen who graze their cattle in the area.

This is our opportunity to step up to the plate guys and put our muscles to work and backup all the talk we have spouted about helping.
#1 to give ATVManager the support we said we would early in the year and #2 to show the cattlemen and the Forest Service that we as ATV trail users are willing to step forward and fix the cattlemen's complaint while keeping our access to this awesome view point. If we cant get the help we will lose access to one more section of the scenery we love to ride and see.

We are going to meet at the Great Western Trailhead just off I-70 east of Salina at 8:00AM on Wednesday September 26th.  As you are heading east on I-70 from Salina, take the Gooseberry Road Exit (exit 61) and turn right.  Immediately take a left and continue east on the frontage road approximately 1/3 mile to the trailhead.  Bring snacks, water, rain gear, lunch, extra fuel and anything else you feel you need.  Be on time so we can begin riding by 8:30.  We will then ride to the spot where the fence needs moved and do some work. When done with that we will ride some more and on back to the trail head.

We need a confirmed list of those who can come and help so PLEASE PM me to confirm you can come help.

I know it's short notice and the middle of the week but I also know you guys can find a way to show up and backup our commitment to help when needed. Lets not send a message that it was all just talk when we said we would be there when needed."
