What ever happened to just a simple screw that you could turn with your fingers.  lol sometimes technology messes things up more than it helps.  roll

It is there way to make you take it to them to be fixed. One can be made but you need to be a little skilled in metal fabrication.

I know :!: . The 2007 to 2009 Ranger Xp topped out stock at 50 to 51 mph and the RZR in 2008 at 55 and with the limiter bushing removed around 60+ MPH. The 2009 RZRs at 63+ MPH stock. I think he may have already lost his ride or it is in the junk yard or repair shop  lol  lol .

Do a search for TPS and i have info there posted.

It should be around 1150 rpm. It requires a special tool to adjust the throttle blade and may require you to adjust the tps sensor as well...

WHATS UP GUYS? I AM FROM FRESNO, CA AND I HAVE A 2007 RHINO THATS HAS OVER $30,000.00 INTO IT. I WAS LOOKING TO BUY ANOTHER ONE. WE GO TO PISMO BEACH EVERY MONTH TO RIDE SO I WANTED TO GET ANOTHER ONE. SO I STARTED LOOKING EVERY WHERE AND I FOUND A WEBSITE CALLED RUESCHMOTORCOMPANY.COM AND LOOKED INTO THE MACHINES THEY SELL. LOOK GREAT ON PAPER SO I STARTED LOOKING INTO THEM, SOME FORUMS SAID CHINA JUNK SOME SAID REAL DEAL.. SO I WENT TO UTAH TO LOOK AT THEM AND DRIVE THEM. I DROVE IT, RACED IT, FLIPPED IT AND LOVED IT. I RACED THIS MACHINE AGIANST A STOCK RHINO AND WE WHERE SIDE BY SIDE FOR THE FIRST 50 YARDS THEN I WALKED AWAY FROM IT. I GOT IT UP TO 48 MPH AND RAN OUT OF ROAD.(IT HAD MORE TO GIVE) SO THOSE OF YOU YOU ARE LOOKING TO BUY A NEW MACHINE WAIT FOR THE RUESCH AND GIVE IT A TRY. WELL WORTH THE WAIT.. LETS FACE IT I HAVE A RHINO AND 90% OF MY PARTS ON IT SAY "MADE IN CHINA" GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDITS DUE!!! THE MOTOR IS A CFMOTO MAID IN THE US. THIS MACHINE WILL OUTSELL ANY OTHER MACHINE ON THE MARKET I PROMISE YOU THAT. IF ANY OF YOU GUYS GO TO PISMO BEACH HIT ME UP IF YOU WANT TO SEE IT OR YOU WANT TO GET SMOKED..LOL tongue

Well i decided to look at this post when i heard about it on the Polaris site and after reading this guys post the first thing needed is to show this guy how to use the shift key  lol . Anyway from what i see here is that i am not very impressed if a bone stock rhino kept up with it for the first 50 yards and only hit 48 mph even though it had a little more to give  . Anyway till i see one for real and see how well it is put together and more info on reliability I will stick with my almost full American UTVs  lol .
Stirring the the coals for fun

#501 Re: General Polaris Ranger and Polaris RZR Discussions » New Razr owner with problems » 2009-08-13 12:58:24

Sorry  , i some how missed this one when you posted it a few days ago. I don't fully understand your post but is there any damage to the fuel tank or the rzr itself  :?: . I would start with checking the fuel pressure and make sure it is around 39 psi at idle. If it is not then you may have shaken up junk in the fuel tank and plugged the primary filter in the tank. It also could be the pump its self and or the external filter. If that is all good then it could be the TPS and in some cases the Tmap/Tbap sensor which may have been contaminated with oil on the roll over. Pull the intake boot and remove the sensor and clean it with only CRC Mass air sensor cleaner http://www.crcindustries.com/files/19965_1.PDF . For the tps sensor if you do a search for TPS sensor i have posted it many times and it is here somewhere  roll . Good Luck.....

Remember, 140 Hp is useless if everything around it wont hold together. You may need a friend with a Polaris to go with you to tow you back to base camp lol .

#503 Re: General Discussion about Yamaha Rhinos » HOW MUCH GAS WILL I NEED FOR MY TRIP??? » 2009-08-12 21:21:22

I have done the big trips like what you will be doing and I would suggest to bring a 5 gal gas can for added insurance. You never know if you or your friends may need the extra fuel and it is handy for camp fire starting as well. It is just better to bring a reserve just in case  .

#504 Re: General Polaris Ranger and Polaris RZR Discussions » New Ranger Heat (Flesh Burn) Issues? » 2009-08-12 20:00:14

I really never looked at them so I looked at the web site and was not impressed with the lay out. I was looking at the pictures and thought the fit and finish from what i saw was kind of weak as well as the look of the build. What I would like to know more about is the German built engine that shows a lot of promise. I would have to see one up close and in action to pass a final judgement on what they are   :!: .

#505 Re: General Polaris Ranger and Polaris RZR Discussions » Looking for some help » 2009-08-12 15:31:51

I had made several posting on your exact subject in some other threads but can't find them because they get lost in the other  threads and fall off the site. We have some request out to the site moderator and the administrator so we can post this in a section at some point so people can have reference to them without searching the entire site to find them. I will be working on a basic service and trouble shooting guide that may be posted at a future date  :?: . All i can say for now is look through all the threads and you answer is scattered there somewhere roll .

I looked into the clutch limiter and they did install one on the 2010 Ranger Xp 800 like i thought. Removal of it should gain 3 to 5 extra MPH if removed like the Rzr primary modification.

#507 Re: Ranger and RZR Photo Gallery » 2010 Ranger 800 XP Limited Edition with EPS » 2009-08-10 16:56:36

Hey when you tear into the primary clutch let me know if they installed the speed limiter spacer that was on last years RZR if you can since you will need to set it all up for the tracks  :?: .

#508 Re: Ranger and RZR Photo Gallery » 2010 Ranger 800 XP Limited Edition with EPS » 2009-08-10 16:30:30

If i was working i would be interested in the tires and Rims but money is way to tight now. As for the tracks it will be interesting on how well the new one piece transmission and rear end will hold up. There seems to be a lot of concern on how strong they are at this time :?: .

There is a photoshop that they call GIMP and it is a free. They say on all the reviews that it works as good as as the slightly older adobe version of photoshop but you can add the plug ins and it becomes very powerful. I will post the link.
