How strong are they you ask? Lets put it this way.... Not even you will be able to trash these!
This is Bob your talking too....that's a strong statement. 8)
Cool vid Brad. Good to see you joined Hickey.
I guess stripping it down to the plastic is out? What color was it?
Cool, we'll probably come down and spectate.
I can't believe you made it back before 10 pm.
Who broke the tail light? I have a like new Polaris tail light
It the first time in my 3 visits to get off the trail in daylight, and that's with us running it in reverse to get back out. Gabe broke both taillights out of the rhino.
Thanks for the good time guys, me Gabe and Hickey were spent by the time we got back to camp. No partying last night, dinner and straight to bed. 8)
Assuming everything goes smoothly, about how long should the "out n back" take?
Plan for a good long day. I think the trail is doable out and back in a day, but we'll be pushing it. We may, depending on time, have to turn back before the top, but I hope not.
Anyone planning on going to this?

Russ Parry (guy from Arkansas that was at ROTR, several of you know who he is) called me and said was was coming out for this. I hadn't even heard of the rally until now, thought I should spread the word.
How many machines we up to?
We have 7 "for sures" at the moment. 8) Still taking applications for position #8 if anyone else wants in.
I AM SOOOO EXCITED!
Looks like My son and I are in will bring my rzs .

No doubt it will be a good time, and no need to step on any toes. I'm just happy to have another opportunity to see this trail.
We will not be able to make the loop. We will be coming back down the same way we go up. It will make for a great day!
Well, as long as we keep moving we should be alright. I have a map that shows the canyon that Hanging Tree is in meets up with Rock Canyon Road at the top, is that doable? I know when we ran it last time we circled around and down Axhandle Canyon, but the map shows Rock Canyon just to the south and a good road down it. Just a thought...
I have a friend that is going to be spending the weekend at my property, and he has never seen Hanging Tree. If there is someone with an empty seat that wouldn't mind a passenger, let me know. He's a seasoned rock crawler, so you don't have to worry about scaring him too much. ![]()
no clue what place, thinking maybe someplace none of us have been to.. surprise for all of us??
That sounds like a good trip..
Steve, get your butt up here for this one. I ran this trail twice in '02 and '03, and it's left a lasting impression on me as my all time favorite. I haven't seen it in a few years, but I don't think it's been ran a ton because it's kind of a secret the locals here keep to themselves.
Oh, and what the heck is with that avatar coreshot??
Ya beat me to it cummins!
Kyle and I were just on the phone and I had to ask him what the heck your avatar was all about coreshot.... Funny thing is, we cant figure it out!
You guys are over thinking it. Beer and Bacon are just two of my favorite things. Glad I could get you guessing though... ![]()
I'll just throw this out there...We will be at the cabin property Friday night, if anybody wants to shorten their drive for Saturday morning, y'all are welcome to come up and camp with us. We have room for moderately sized RVs, and tons of space for tenting. You're welcome to stay Saturday night also. Cabin is west of Indianola, so about a half hour drive to Ephraim. Let me know.
That is very nice of you! It would make my trip longer but I may pop in Friday night.
How about some directions?
If we get some people that want to come up, let's just plan on a BBQ Friday night. Kind of a pre run party...
