Well, it's stripped down to the frame...awaiting pics from SB Fabworks. Does anyone know if anyone makes heady duty aftermarket spindles and hubs for the XTZs?

It was great...anything is possible. I'm leaving it out west in may to finish out the season. There's a whiplash race in salt lake in march. Wanna come pick it up and race it?

Yeah, I held off most, but there was still some faster Rhinos out there. The RZR's have basically no torque, so once loaded down with extra weight and mud, etc, they don't perform nearly as good as they do empty unfortunately. Now, a MCX-USA Turbo would have been sweet. smile

Hey guys,

The Soboba GP this year was totally insane. Last year it was the steep jumps and rough whoops. This year it was mud, mud, and more mud. Check out the following video:

Yeah, unlike our current race RZR build, we're tearing the Prowler down to the bare frame and building it from the frame up. We're going to be running 30" tires, as well, which given the motor can pull it, that will net us 95+ miles per hour top speed.

LOL...I was merely referring to her obvious superior driving skills, but now that you mention it, it's obvious who we'd choose to race it for us. LOL!

Hey guys,

Our brand new 2009 Arctic Cat Prowler XTZ 1000 was picked up today by Bruce @ SB Fabworks to begin the tear down to build the ultimate desert racer. A huge thanks goes out to Arctic Cat for sponsoring us this year, so we have huge plans for a successful year of racing. Because of the timing, though, we were hoping to complete a full series of BITD, but we'll be missing a couple of the first races as we complete the buildup. There's a few key races in SCORE we might run, and we're planning on competing heavily in Whiplash, as well.

Stay tuned as we get pictures of the Prowler in stock form from SB Fabworks: www.SBFabworks.com in the next couple of days.

On this thread, we'll keep everyone abreast of what's going on with the build, of course run articles in the magazine, and cover the races we're racing. And, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
