Will the front end off a 2010 or 2011 rzr fit on my 2008 rzr? This is just the red plastic.
Check out the Cooter Brown tops. They ar eplastic, but hang over and keep the wet stuff off of ya fairly good. And they have an LED light mounted in them.
Thanks guys, I will pass this on to him.
My buddy has a Ranger XP 700 he bought new in 2007. He has put 4 drive belts on this thing since he has had it. We do not drive it hard. Up steep hills it is in low as it should be, not a mud bug or running up and down creeks. It is used mainly in open field or dirt or gravel trails in Kentucky. First one was replaced by dealer, second was done by dealer who said a broken mount was the problem and since then it had broken two in the last year! Any ideas? Last one, it broke on me while going down the drive way at low speed, under 20 mph. All motor mounts are good as are the bushings. Any ideas?
The throttle spring on the 08 RZR is very touchy. Too soft I would guess. There is a spring "upgrade" for them. I am use to mine and don't have that problem anymore. When my wife drives it, she gets whiplash! I keep thinking she will snap a drive shaft.
:? I know someone has to have a winch on their RZR.
I would like to see how some of you have your winch setup in your RZR. I picked up a 4500# winch last week and will begin installing soon. I would like to see how it sits in with the radiator hoses and wiring. Thanks.
So that's what the underside of a RZR looks like.
I know we have all types here, lots of wooded areas and streams. Nothing like you would have in Utah, but I just don't know where everyone goes to ride. Most land is private, but I'm not sure if any forest areas offer ATV riding.
Who rides in Indiana and where? I'm in SE Indianapolis, so everywhere is about an hour away.
I love it. It sounds great and you just plug in the ipod or XM/Sirius radio and go. I am a happy customer. ![]()
Looks like the kit is $170 including shipping.
I took the RZR to Poppy Mountain this week-end in Kentucky. Got to use the Mammoth Speakers and IPOD for the first time really out side of my drive way. Worked great. The sound blew away the Tractor Tunes system in another Ranger. It also sounded better then the J-Strong roof system & stereo. The power switch turned out to be the best idea I have had for a while. It worked great after riding all day and the sitting around the fire at night we could turn the unit on and listen to music without the dash lights on or the fuel pump powered up. And the Optima Red battery worked like a champ. Ran the stereo for several hours and never even hesitated to start the RZR. Now I head back down on Wednesday to finish out the week of riding and relaxing.
That's stuck!!??
ANY QUESTIONS?

Made a power wire change to the Mammoth Sound System.
It was originally designed with a plug in on the ignition system, so it was only on when the vehicle key was on. I put a full size Optima battery in the RZR, so I don't see the battery running down if it's on for a hour or so. I put in a rocker switch on the back of the shift console. It is run directly to the battery and then to the power on the sound system. So now it is plug in the IPOD or other device and flip the switch, bing, it's on.
