looks fun but the video tells me the track was ideally set for a ruthless rzr  lol  lol  lol

Any stock side x side can make it through the course with the exception of a mule.  big_smile  Your RZR 4 will do just fine.  big_smile

This course is designed to be timed but speed will not be the key... Driver skill will win this race.  big_smile

Running the course throughout the day will teach us the "fast" lines as well.

We all know what a pain it is to check the oil on a RZR and with my bench seat I found myself not wanting to check it at all. I put a dipstick relocate kit on it. Moves it to the rear passenger wheel well, Makes it a lot better.  big_smile

Location before the install:

You can see that the stock piece and the new piece are the same with the exception of where the support bracket is welded. New is on the left.

Ater 5 min the old one was out and the new one was in. 2 bolts, thats it. Real simple install.

We are planning on a ride this Saturday the 24th. We will be leaving Moroni at 9:00am and heading over to Wales and up Wales canyon, over the top, down Chicken Creek, to Levan. We will watch the Levan parade and grab some lunch there. We will then head up the Canyon and do some more riding and back down one of the canyons and end up back in Moroni where we started.

Anyone interested? Post up or call me @435-851-3637

#429 Re: Goin' Riding... Who's with Me? » UTAH AUGUST RIDE INFO! » 2010-07-21 21:38:42

I can make anything work if we get it set in stone. I really need to ride instead of admiring how good the Rzr4 looks in the garage.

GARAGE QUEEN!!!

#430 Re: General Discussion about Yamaha Rhinos » Is it really worth it? Rhino Long Travel? » 2010-07-21 21:37:13

Yes it is worth the investment if done properly. There are a lot of options out there with a wide range in pricing. Some of the things that you can expect include: Better overall ride, much greater stability, more confidence in your machine, greater travel, amazing articulation, additional ground clearance, and the list goes on. Also keep in mind that the shocks you run play a VERY important part in the success of your long travel kit.

Hope that helps. Any other questions?

#433 Re: Ranger and RZR Performance Mods » RZR Audio » 2010-07-19 21:02:58

Also keep in mind that your RZR is not chrging your battery untill over 3k rpm. So putting around is not going to charge your battery.

#434 Re: Ranger and RZR Performance Mods » RZR Audio » 2010-07-19 21:01:24

There are many different ways to be able to handle the bigger systems. The two most common are: One, is you can upgrade the stock battery. Two, is add a dual battery system. There are different ways to do this as well but I suggest a system that allows your main (starting) battery to always have enough battery to "start" your ride. These type of systems also charge the main battery first and when it is charged your secondary battery charges. It is always a good idea if you are running a big system to trickle charge both batts when possable.

Very nice! What are your plans with them? More upgrades?  Also what type of riding do you do?
