that price sounds about right. I would expect 11k even for the sport. Where do you live?

Good choice. I think the 27" fit it nicely. Thanks for all the feedback and photos as well.

Congrats on the new Polaris Ranger purchase!

A few ideas that I've seen out there for the Side X Sides you might want to consider for hunting purposes:

- Gun rack/bow rack that mounts to the roll cage.
- GPS and GPS mount kits

- Additional lighting and light mounts on front bumper and/or roll cage. ZoneWorx (zoneworx.net) has some nice lighting setups.

- Might consider upgrading the tires depending on the terrain you'll be covering. Lion Cart (lioncart.com) has great prices on tires and wheels.

- Have also seen some nice storage boxes, and other types of containers that mount into the bed for various items.

I'll keep an eye out for particular brand names. Keep us posted if you find anything you find useful as well.

Welcome to the forum! Can't wait to see the pictures.

Hey brindley, welcome to the forum!

Can you provide some more details on your NOS setup. I'm curious, and I'm sure others are too, how the NOS systems install on the Yamaha Rhino? Is it a simple installation?  Do you have to do any other mods to your motor if you are running Nitrous? What kinda performance gains are you seeing with your setup?

Congrats on the 300' race win!

How was the show DTH? Sorry I couldn't be there.

Any idea why they would go with a carb instead of EFI? The EFI seems like the only way to go these days. Does the carb give you more options for performance upgrades? Can you mod an EFI or at least re-program them if needed to change performance characteristics?

#385 Re: Yamaha Rhino Performance Mods » more power » 2007-08-09 00:47:31

How fast?  Is the turbo the only mod on your Rhino?

Can you explain what the turbo does, how it works (in lamens terms) for us? I'm curious if I need/want this for my weekend rides or is this more for someone who is looking to race their Rhino.

What did it cost? Is it easy to install?

#386 Re: General Polaris Ranger and Polaris RZR Discussions » NEW Polaris RZR cages **REVISED PRICES 2/28/08** » 2007-08-09 00:40:05

Welcome to the forum!

They both look nice. Clean lines, good profile.

How much $?

Do you build these on the side or is this a legit business?

Do you perform any kind of safety tests to ensure they're safe? I'm not saying have you done crash tests on them and rolled them down a mountain but I wonder more and more about all the different cage builders out there and how much thought goes into engineering and building a 'safe' roll cage. I also understand they are really only as safe as the person who is operating the Side X Side.

Any insight into roll cage safety and what to look for when buying a new cage would be great!

Hahaha. Great story! That's one MacGyver himself would be proud of. Yamaha needs to add that technique to the owners manual!

Glad you both made it back safe.

Still laughing....  lol
