This would be the ideal rig to haul all the toys around.   8)
Plenty of room in the bed and plenty of power to pull campers

i cant say that i have any exspiriance with any of the arctic cat UTVs but it sounds like maybe there is a failure in something like a snap ring or locking nut on the inside of the diff. My cousin sells CATS I have to stop by there tomorrow so ill ask around and see if they have had any thing like that happen yet.

damn toys, if it aint one thing its another.  roll

#318 Re: General Discussion about Yamaha Rhinos » Rhino Recall » 2009-05-01 16:54:10

One more tid bit of info.

Each year 25,000 people are injured and 75 people are killed on garden tractors.
1 out of 5 is a kid.
Where is your bleeding heart for them.

Maybe johnsands can save us all from our John Deer or Sears tractors next.

Has anyone seen or know if there are any photos of a can-am.
I came across this. I havent seen anything like this yet and it is parked infront of two other can-am ATVs.
Doesnt look like it has alot of protection on the bottom, kinda cool lookin but I dont think i would want my ass that close to the ground without some sort of skid plate.  lol

Think Ill stick to my Rhino.  big_smile

#320 Re: General Discussion about Yamaha Rhinos » Rhino Recall » 2009-05-01 12:20:41

Ill have you know Im 30 and I make $1.10 on my paper route all five houses say im the best paper boy they have ever seen.  tongue

This whole thing is no differant than guns.   ----- Guns dont kill people, people with guns kill people. ----- Rhinos dont kill people, people that dont know how to drive rhinos kill people.  Its an inanement object that needs interaction from an irisponsable person to kill.

This is something Johnsands wrote on Nov 05 2008

"I am back! I am the one everyone here hates.
Anyway today Wall Street Journal has a FRONT PAGE article titled "U.S. Probes Off-Road Vehicles After a String of Deaths"
Yes the article is about our little friend the Rhino. And yes.....it was me that contacted them and got their interest up.
Pertty good.....FRONT PAGE!
OK.....go ahead a blast me

How can anyone defend that. He is proud of coming here even thoe he knows what the reaction will be.
He knows everyone here doesnt care about anything he has so say, he is not here to try to help us, he is here because he is against Rhinos, and some where in his sick twisted mind im sure he gets his jollys off by coming here. So if warriorrider (john) thinks the rest of us are being childish then maybe they should look back on who started this whole mess.    What ever happend to JohnSands? Ever since 450grl called him on his porn? the weaisle hasnt shown his face here.
Leave the court cases, recalls and newspapers out of this. People are not going to change just because one person demands it and spare the rest of us from your petty bitching on how your going to save us all. Seat belts, hand holds, leg minders and nets are no mach for stupidity and negligence.

#321 Re: The X Spot » Forklift Value? » 2009-04-29 16:22:14

1241046624891866.jpg

I want to see some forks on this beast.    lol
it only weighs 258 tons
can lift 72 tons 24 feet high
and has 2,300HP diesel with a 1050 gallon fuel tank
325 gallons of hydraulic oil and 130 gallons of
coolant. each tire is 13 ft tall and weighs 8 tons.

NOW THAT WOULD BE A FORKLIFT  lol
Did someone ask for some lumber?

#322 Re: The X Spot » Forklift Value? » 2009-04-29 10:52:05

I came across this. Not much help but it doesnt seem like there is a reliable blue book for equipment due to things like damage, amout of service and up keep it got and type of work its done and possable internal damage that cant be seen in such things like pumps, pistons and drive motors. Its hard to tell how well a machine runs and operates with out test driving it for a few hours to see how it acts when things get heated up.
http://www.forkliftaction.com/forum/discussion_962.htm

One other thing you can try is used equipment web site, look over other forklifts for sale and you can get a good idea what they go for. This is a great site and it has alot of listings.
http://www.machinerytrader.com/

Be careful, used equipment can have alot of gremlins in them.

I have run Toyota, Clark, Daewoo, Nissan and they all seem to be the best there is I would steer clear of anything that sounds like a cheaper knock off like Namco, Boss or  Drexel

#323 Re: General Discussion about Yamaha Rhinos » Rhino Recall » 2009-04-28 13:01:40

:x   Looks like JohanSands got him self a new name.........(warriorrider)......... Maybe?....

...."You guys need to lighten up he is just trying to protect you."

....  LMFAO  ....

Just a tid bit of info.
More people died last year from lightning strikes than all UTV accidents combined.  .....Kinda odd dont ya think?

#324 Re: Rhino Parts and Accessories » Rancho suspension » 2009-04-27 18:44:03

I was looking around online for suspension kits and came across one made by Rancho. It looks like a well built heavy duty kit with everything needed. I was wondering if anyone has seen one installed or heard anything about it.

#326 Re: The X Spot » Hello from Missouri » 2009-04-22 21:03:02

Welcome top100.    dont worrie, things keep going they way they are now and dealers will be giving UTVs away with the pearches of a keychain.

#327 Re: The X Spot » NEW IN-BED CAB OVER ATV/UTV RACK » 2009-04-22 20:46:23

Good point on the camper. Ill have to give you that.  I have never heard of a speed limit for a trailer thoe thats a new one for me. Nothing like that here in Maine. But........What about the drive through at Mc-Donalds.   lol

#328 Re: Ranger and RZR Photo Gallery » The "Dark Side" » 2009-04-22 20:11:03

when it gets this deep I would opt for chest wadders.   lol

But......... since someone brought up Star Wars  lol        If I remember right the Jedi won the war the death star was blown up and Darth Vader was cremated on a brush pile out in the middle of the woods by his son. Bringing us to the destruction of the dark side.

#329 Re: The X Spot » NEW IN-BED CAB OVER ATV/UTV RACK » 2009-04-22 19:39:28

roll No disrespect intended here but what ever happened to just towing a trailer.   i just saw an add for a 5ft x 8ft  3000lb trailer at Tracktor Supply Co for under $1000 with a 4ft fold up ramp.   saves your trucks tailgate and cleaning out the drive through at Mc Donalds.   lol

#330 Re: The X Spot » RUESCH XRL AND XR THE REAL DEAL? » 2009-04-19 13:21:58

You pay for what you get.

Yamaha has been around for a long time and has plenty of trust worthy machines out. If some other company needs to copy yamaha and slap on some differant plastic and call it their own and sell it for less then thats what you get, a Rhino built by a cheep shity  company who cant come up with their own machine so they take it from someone else. I would rather spend the extra money and get a yamaha anyday. if someone else wants a cheaper knock off then more power to them, Just dont get pissed off when you have to get towed home by a Yahama, Polaris, Kawaski, Arctic Cat or Honda.  Remember you bought the cheaper machine, personly i would be embarrassed as hell to own a knock off.

Copy cats should be shot.
