I think we should plan on meeting at 9:30 or 10 in Mesquite Walmart parking lot.
To get to Logandale follow I-15 from Mesquite towards Vegas. Turn south on Moapa Valley Blvd towards Logandale. follow into town, turn right on Liston ave, right on Pioneer rd and head west. The signage is said to be marked well for the trail head. Meet at the restrooms if you get lost. You can always call me at 801-282-2627 too.
thats an awesome video guys! does the half windshield block a lot of the wind or just give you something to duck behind when driving?
diverts some wind and dust. If you keep it off the dash it will help keep some of the dust out too. With a full windshield you get the dust and you can't see for long either.
Type of riding , Well it seems I always have extra weight in the bed ,,if it's not the kids I am packing gas and a cooler and alot of other thigs, we do alot of riding on the west desert , (Conger,Amasa and sawmill) mostly roads but you do get into some steep rocky area's. If you have not visited the Amasa trail system in Millard county it is a must. later in the spring is a good time so you can get up to Notch Peak lookout.
Show us the way! ![]()
A CDI (msd or dynatec) will boost your speed up to about 40 mph. DO NOT mess with the clutch sheave unless you can do the greaseless overdrive weights. I spent more money on clutch parts before settling with a 130. Kit from hunterworks. If you do mess with it talk to Todd at HW for the best advice.
The windshield recommendation is the half or split so when it gets dirty you can still see. They do not clean easily on the trail so the half works best.
The 450 is a good machine and we proved it with the 17500 lb "rhino truck pull" on YouTube.
The progressive 425hd's helped alot. I would still like to have a small lift on the rear but the ride as a four seated improved dramatically. How big are the passangers riding in the back? Pending on that you may look at the air shocks so you can adjust when you need to.
A WEATHER UPDATE FOR ALL YOU "MR. KRYPTONITE" HATERS OUT THERE
There is only love!
BIG BOY!
Logandale is showing 36 miles from Mesquite. I have been told by others it is worth the drive. Very scenic, rock crawling, dunes and plenty to sight see. If you watch any of the youtube videos you will understand. I am going on others opinions from forums and the "at your leisure" team.
I am thinking we should meet in the parking lot at casa Blanca and head out to logandale. I am not sure the mileage from mesquite (towards Vegas) but what I have seen on-line I am excited to go. I will be finishing up the details before Thursday morning.
Titan fly out here by Thursday morning and ride with us. After your done here we will have given you a reason to move down, but then again you have a beautiful area up in Maine to I'm sure!
I'm with badley. I would go to the "rally on the rocks" since I am also out a DVD that will be a year old paid for if ever received. I have had fun years past but I think the rally on the rocks will flow better since there is not a big car show that week. Also if you haven't made reservations for lodging you could be out.
I'm glad there is more than one of us that's excited for the rides in the snow

It's always "Kryptonites" fault isnt it!?!
Its my fault you broke your rhino at the hangin tree.
Its my fault you ran out of fuel in YOUR truck on the way home from Moab.
Its my fault your new wheels got nicked up your first trip out with them.
Its my fault this.
Its my fault that.
Its also my fault that this list could go on and on.But...
Its also MY FAULT that you have so much FUN on our trips!!!!
Oh, and BTW there will be no snow. Trust me.
Hey, I'm not gay but... I LOVE YA MAN!
I always have fun even if it rains or snows within 24hrs of being around you.
Wow, thats reasonable..Are they better (meaning stronger) than the stock ones.
Hmmmm. Im not sure how to answer that yet since I have only put it on and been arround the parking lot. It seems really strong but we will see how it does after the trip next week.
It has some really cool "hand positions" on it. I do know that!
UHH wait. You have a street legal kit, you live in a farming community and you choose a parking lot? :?:

Check with the comfort in in hurricane. For 59 a night it wasn't bad or days inn is cheaper but not great reviews. Should be able to stay in mesquite with cheap rooms.
I was sick all last week, I couldn't schedule myself a day off until Monday.
