Hi George. There's not much chatter on this forum regarding the John Deere UTV's.  I wish I knew more about the vehicle to provide some answers. Hopefully a Deere owner can drop by with some knowledge they can share.

What is the price difference between the  XUV 825i vs. the 800XP?

Sounds like you want a Yamaha Rhino. There's a decent used market for them due to other manufactures getting in the game with more specialized vehicles too. You should be able to pick up a used 2008 Rhino for around 5k.  Check out utvtrader.net to see what's available.
