I love my 2011 Ranger XP 800. I can do a lot more with it then I ever could with my RZR.

I had a Viper 4500# on my RZr. I know it may have been a little over kill, but I knew it would do the job if I had to.

I installed mine under the hood. Found some of the pre drilled holes lined up.

Ok, I went with the VDP type of speakers this time as the Mammoth Sound System was a little out of my range now. I was at a recent event and looked at several and this looked like the best deal. It is overhead and out of the way. It fit very well with my roof (Kolpin) and is very snug. The thing I do not like it the mount. I had to drill into the cage to fasten it on. The mounts could be better. If you get one, go to your local hardware store and buy some stainless screws of the same type. The ones that come with it are soft and threads strip out very easy. I will have to replace two myself. Also replace the screws that hold the bracket to the speakers with hex head screws. Same on these, very soft and even by hand, the heads strip out. Sound from the IPOD is great. I will run the power through a switch so I don't have to plug into the cig lighter for power. I will later hook up a stereo, probably Kenwood or Sony Marine unit, maybe in the spring. I will post some pics later this week.
Over all, Vetically Driven Products has a very good sound system at a good price. Oh, check Ebay for it. I bought the speakers and the amp separately, saved about $125 over the same unit with the amp built in.

I guess I could cut up one of those Jesus shoes and use the rubber for a washer to stop the noise.

I found my main squeeker while out last week. It's the seatbelt. Where it mounts to the rollcage at the top. Now to figure out a rubber washer to put in there to stop that.

What type of bed? Bigger, wider, deeper, longer?

I am looking for a good stereo to put in my 2011 Ranger. Suggestions? What does everyone have in theirs? :?:

Picked up a hard top and it's on. Now for a decent priced folding windshield. Crap they want an assload for them!

First I want a roof and windshield. Then I'll start on the stereo and others.

The windshields look nice, can you get the pics for the roofs to work. I have a new Ranger and am in the market for windshield and roof. My buddy lives in Inez, so he's not far away.

Picked up a new toy last weekend. Sold my RZR, so I had to have something. Now for the add ons!

Check all your roll cage bolts. I picked up a new XP 800 (Black LE) last weekend. Every freaking bolt on the roll cage was snug, but not tight. I tightened all down and it doesn't rattle now. I hear one that I think is a heat sheild on the exhaust. That will be my next gremlin to find.
Now for a roof and windshield.
