Got my rzr4 back today after the spraque carrier distruction and then changing to the higher altitude clutching.
Here is the old Polaris spraque carrier after only 352 miles. Not as bad as Jareds but for being plastic and holding the torque of the front end it should be an embarrassment to Polaris. I would have been more upset if it would have failed when I needed 4x4 most. Dealers are seeing more of this now. The dealer hadn't seen the stock part yet from Polaris so I am now very glad Ruthless had the LIFETIME WARRANTY replacement one in stock.

Has anyone got a new date for the ride? We could tap into early September if we have to.
As far as the UTV rally we might be able to dry camp at Redmans spot if he has room. I could even make some other arrangements too. The spots and cabins I was thinking of is what Badley looked into. It is a nice quite place but close to everything...What's everyones plan here? :?:
I just wanted to say thanks to Ruthless motorsports for having one of these in stock and having one to me the next day, FAST SHIPPING. I took mine to the dealer and they would have had to order one and it would have been a stock plastic replacement, after they approved having it replaced to begin with.
It was the first thing that failed on my 350 mile RZR4, The dealer was very impressed with the quality of the new one and said he had seen quite a few failures of the stock one now. It would have REALLY sucked if I would have been in Moab or in the mud when it went into a million bits, almost like oreo's in a milkshake.
THANKS AGAIN JARED! ![]()
At your leisure needs some video footage, in HD if you have it. I'll work on getting the address they need it sent to if you guys have some you can send...
Why? They have yet to put any of it on their show. I am chapped after all the effort they put more time towards the old school rock crawl in Delta, Utah.
Very nice!
30"s with what offset?
Who set you up with everything?
I have a few contacts if interested. Hookups, cabin, what? I would like to go even though I have been on most of the trails listed. I could almost be a guide.
As far as the Utah ride I think we need to plan August/ September due to snow in some areas.
After going from a Rhino to a Polaris I don't think I could stand to have that engine that close to me due to the noise. I couldn't keep my stereo loud enough or my vocal chords from being tired after a short day ride with friends. They have done some impressive things with it but they could of also trimmed a couple hundred pounds by eliminating some too.
Let me abuse it and I will tell you what I think...I now have an opinion of a Rhino 660, 450 and a Rzr4. ![]()
I'm going to throw some dates out there...aug 6th-8th??
You make it to Utah on ANY date and I will be ready to ride and show you around!
sounds like a plan!
you want me to bring the rzr or brp??
You might want to bring both. Jared has a tendency to make people break things, JOB ASSURANCE
If you come on down Kyle I will take care of one of your meals for you!
is the spacer for more low end like the Rhino washer/spacer?
towards the end of July to get past the rim their by Ephraim most likely. Pleasant creek might be a while too. Might be the end of August if you take the UTV jam in consideration too.
Never been south of Ephraim on the Skyline or on the west Mt. Sounds like you would head down around Mayfield and across to Gunnison then towards Levan then down. If you know the route I am game, so is Kelsie.
If I could handle it....
I will start google earthing if I need too.
:?: Anyone interested in a ride involving taking your camping gear and roughing it along the trail? :?:
Chime in and lets try to pull it off this year.
I think we could easily start out at Ruthless motorsports and make a big loop, easily done with street legal machines.
Here is my thought. Up pleasant creek then north on the Skyline to Tucker on highway 6, over to schofield, clearcreek, huntington, orangeville, towards joes valley then back north or south on the South skyline drive. Easily a loop. I have done several segments of this. Maybe Jared or others can chime in too.
That's the second time I have heard about that. What is a sprague carrier and what can I do to avoid a breakdown?
Ruthlessmotorsports set me up with a lifetime gaurantee sprague carrier. It is in the front diff and Polaris thought it would be cool and put a plastic part in and see how long it would last. Best tip is not to jump it after it goes out of warranty, this and 40 mph whoops I think toasted it. Steadmans recreation will not be able to get to it until next week to be sure that is it. The second weakest link might be the transmission. ![]()
Brad, this is a cool video. Not sure how I feel about my family being involved in 2 of the rollovers!

Did you decide on the Superatv 6" long arm kit for your rhino? I cant get them to get me any specs on travel so I can find a shock that works. Decided to go with HCR's +6 instead.
I am currently putting a true plus 6" (HCR),with King shocks on my RZR 4, supposed to pick it up, along with the rhino, at little sahara saturday morning.
Cant wait to try them out.
So you did get a 4< congrats! I have really enjoyed mine until loosing the front spraque carrier (I think) last weekend. ![]()
I am holding out for the UTV jamboree in Marysvale around August 12th. It is Redmans event down there and it should be free of snow by then. The Fillmore to Richfield ride is fun but I much more prefer Marysvale.
