Sounds good to me.
YEP!
Mark you calendar, September 28th on the Paiute was absolute peak of perfection for riding.
Colors were almost fluorescent and the weather was great. You will be seeing articles in both Side X Side Action and UTV Offroad of the Paiute soon.
DITTO THAT!
That was one SWEET ride!
Anytime RedMan has a group ride planned you should find a way to go.
I've had great luck with a turbocharged RZR.
I have over 2,400 miles on my RZR running pump gas and 8 - 8.5 # of boost.
At that boost level the 800 is in the range of 85 Horsepower instead of the stock 50.
My engine is holding up just fine. I believe one reason is that I didn't raise the rev limiter.
Raising the engine speed is much harder on the crank than adding power in the designed RPM band.
I know people who have run 15# of boost on the RZR without trouble; I just wasn't willing to push it that hard.
The top speed remains the same as what you can do with a stock RZR, you just get there quicker.
From what I can see about this new system, it should run cooler EGTs and have lower backpressure than other systems like mine. This would be less stressful on the engine.
The $5,500. price tag is steep in relation to the cost of the RZR, but is reasonable when compared with other systems that don't come with all the extra components that this system does.
I hope to see the new 850 engine in the 2010 RZR.
I probably wouldn’t get a turbo if the RZR came with 70+ horsepower stock.
That would be SWEET! ![]()
I have no vested interest in this product. I don't have this kit on my RZR, but from all the research I have done, & all the tweaking I have done on my kit, I do believe this is likely the best off the shelf kit currently available for the RZR.
When you look at what comes with this kit, you can quickly see that you get allot more for the money than other kits that are out there.
I am surprised at how complete the parts list is, and how well thought out it appears to be.
Nobody else has a kit with a boost & wideband 0-2 gauge package as standard!
IMHO a wideband is one of the most important things you can have on an aftermarket turbocharged engine.
After a WHOLE LOT of modification and extra expense on the TSI kit I can now say that I think it’s in the same league with the Aerocharger kit. However, if I had it to do again, I would spend the extra money and save myself allot of time.
I like what I see so far.
Redman,
Listen to you...
You have more toys your RZR than anyone else I know. I'm just tryin' to keep up!
BTW
It's all your fault I had to go out and get those HID headlights. They will be here this week.
I'm looking forward to using them on the night ride.
Now I need to get one of those in car camera systems like you have.
I still have that SD card with your video footage on it. I'm still thinking about posting that one part where you forgot to turn off the recording.
The intake hiss was almost unbearable when I first got the system on. (Before the snorkel)
I built the air silencer box that kills almost every bit of hiss. (See picture)
It is quieter than stock, and just a bit quicker. ;-)

The turbo kit is made by Turbo specialties, and modified heavily by me.
I've been very happy with it, and have 1,600 miles on the clock since it was installed.
I look forward to showing you in Moab.
The turbo does a fantastic job on the slick rock! (See video)

Hey all,
I'm new to the forum & am looking forward to meeting some of you on the Moab ride in November.
By way of introduction, here are a few pictures of my RZR.

I'm in!
Our 2 RZRs will be arriving on Friday night.
I am planning to go on Hells revenge & Fins & things with the Redman group on Saturday, as well as the night ride on Saturday night.
I'm looking forward to this!
