Here is the link to the seat covers......
Hey all - I'm looking for a replacement bench seat for my 2004 Ranger 4x4. Prefer black. Thanks
They are not cheap the last time I checked. There was a guy that listed a recover kit that looked real good that i thought I would use when the time comes. I will see If I can locate the thread......
There has not been many cali rides unfortunately but they do a bunch in Utah around the Moab area that are really big rides. Moab is a bit fare for me but if you do not mind the drive I am sure it is a really good experience. Take a look in the rally section and the where to ride section for more details, They have all there pictures and video there, also on the bottom of the forum you can get an idea as well with the rally on the rocks thread. Also anyone that feels free to post up some new rides feel free to do so.....
This site gets a little slow on weekends because they are all out on the rides and I am sure there will be more answers to your question when they all get back.....

Is this thing for real :?: :?: :?: ![]()
It looks like a good deal and should go quick.
Hi Bradley the 2011 feels stronger on the bottom end and the mid range ,does not feel as strong on the top end ,i have been tunning the clutch weights as i am at almost 6000 ft . i should be done with my review of the 2011 s by next week i will post up the findings .Frank
It is always good to have new members come on with new information. I have not personally kept up on the new models and really have not worked on the newest stuff as well
. We get a lot of people asking for help on stuff and it is getting harder and harder to answer questions due to all the new models.......
Welcome To SidexSide Forum StrRacerX, Makin'Trax, Bigmike58. We have a pretty laid back site and normally no issues. We are always glade to have new members that can contribute to the site and have a good time
. If you know of anyone else bring them on as well
.
Hi i have a 2011 rzrs and 2 2009 rzrs the 2011 is not as fast on the top end as the 2009-2010's but the power band is much smoother due to a lot of engine work ,
Frank
Would you consider the smoothness due to the new engine management system on the 2011 model or was it due to other changes :?: .
sorry guys i just got carried away , sore subject so on to the rides !
everyone is welcome to come ride with me any colour ,race, but mabe if you got a rhino i will make fun of it for a while !
Skeeter, Apology accepted
.
Did you get a note from the dealer stating that they are aware of the problem and that it will be covered under warranty when it does blows up regardless if it happens just after the warranty comes up  . From what I see in the photo that should be soon but personally I would not change the oil or have been changing the oil since the dealer first was aware of the problem and said they will fix it when the time comes, changing the oil will only prolong the problem longer your case. I am curious though, have you stuck a magnet in the oil to see just how much of the contamination is aluminum or steel  .....
You need to go to another dealer for your problem  . And by the way good job on the information, It looks like you have a while looking into this problem  ......
On the oil there is always some metal the first few changes on a new transmission till the gears are all broken in but in your case that is the sign of a soon to be catastrophic failure soon to come :!: .
After doing some research for something else, I found out some interesting new info. The 2009 RZR and RZR-s did run two different camshafts that I already knew about but come to find out that Polaris has thrown me curve ball and changed it in 2010. The RZR-s now runs the detuned 2009 RZR camshaft :?:
. Now the Standard RZR and the RZR-s have the same camshafts for 2010
.....
Just thought I would mention this......
The main difference in yours is the cam, the rzr has a hotter cam. The RZR engine is rated at 52 hp and the XP 800 is rated at 46 hp, I would have to check but I am also sure that the ECU would also have a hotter tune as well. This said, there is no easy detune device or restrictor to get the RZR factory Horse power without cracking into the engine. As for the rear cage, I will do some looking to see if one is out there somewhere.
Would like to buy a new razor, not sure if I should buy a 2010 or 2011. I lilke the S model and it looks like they lowered the price on the 2011. I can buy in AZ or CA. Any good dealers you guys like?
Are there problems in certain years to stay away from? It will be used mostly in the desert, so wide stance is fine. Thanks in advance.
Terry
In California I do not have any recommendations on good repair dealers but the biggest dealer is listed below. As for which RZR I would want it would only be the S version. As for problems I think they are mostly been resolved since the first year it was released. This is where I got my 2005 from and they were the only ones that had it at the time......
Just baught a 2010 ranger xp and am wondering what to remove first to make it better since factory slowed it down. Suspension? motor? useless junk? Also want to make it faster, put a cage where i can still dump the bed and put a seat in the back. Any suggestions will be much appreciated. thanks
That is a very wide and open question and hard to answer. If it is under warranty then not much but when out of warranty that opens a big door and it all comes down to how much you want to spend. I would start with in order below.
The Engine
1) Clutching System Upgrade.
2) Cam Change with ECU upgrade along with a fuel controller and AF gauge.
3) Upgrade exhaust system and Air cleaner. Maybe have the head done up as well.
4) The big money Turbo or Supercharger upgrade after all the engine upgrades have been done.
The other stuff
1) Add a winch.
2) Add upgraded battery.
3) Upgrade tires and shocks. Must do Clutching along with taller Tires.
4) Spare Tire Carrier.
5) Removable front windshield and soft top.
6) Sound system If you like to disturb the peace....
7) Some upgraded harnesses. If you have done the engine modes and drive on the edge this moves to the top of the stack.
This can go on forever and it all depends on how much $$$ you want to spend and how deep your pockets are  .
