#1553 Re: General Polaris Ranger and Polaris RZR Discussions » Has anybody gotten theirs yet? » 2007-06-06 08:38:40

Thanks for the feedback guys - lets see some photos! Almost put my money down (I would have been first in line), but decided on the Rhino. Have contemplated buying a RZR also  lol  Local dealer here has 12 pre-sold, but are hoping to have them filled and a few for the showroom by August. I got a "peep" at one they were holding from a customer  8)

Tempting? With this storm it should be cool and dust free   Have to stay close to home this weekend, will head to AF Canyon.

Headed back to AF Canyon this Saturday with Justin and possibly another forum(s) member. Any and all interested in going are welcome.

#1556 Re: General Discussion about Yamaha Rhinos » What year is this Rhino? » 2007-06-06 08:12:50

Sorry this has turned out bad Bigwaynester! Hope you can recover and find the right Rhino for you. My son has been looking at Rhino's and has uncovered several scams. In Utah used Rhinos are priced about the same as new and so he has been watching other areas and also Ebay. He said that you can find a deal on new in the East, but nothing out West. In the used market there are no "deals". Any "deals" have turned out to be scams. Anyone want to vacation in FL? Rhino Lynch Mob

I want to go, but I must remain a slacker (or become divorced) sad  Only have Sat. available, not worth the trip for part of a day. Give us a full report (please) .

I was running 10lbs as I normally do - I probably should have lowered them but was having so much fun (and having no problems) that I didn't even think about it. Next time I will try some lower preasure and let you know. P.S. I finally got my PIAA clamps yesterday from Black Rhino Performance. Been on back order for 5 months  roll  Did you ever get yours?

#1559 Re: Yamaha Rhino Photo Gallery » American Fork Canyon » 2007-05-30 09:16:50

Boulder sections were a blast - amazing how well the Rhino handles "rock crawling" - clearance the only issue. Had several Jeep guys lusting over the Rhino  8)  We crossed water about 5 different times, keeps it interesting  smile  Love the Maxis Bighorns - I bought them on recomendation from another Forums member (admin) and I am impressed with versatility and wear. They ride very smooth on hard pack (or pavement) and I have never felt like I could get better traction anywhere except maybe in sand - only thing better would be paddles and I am not pumping enough power to warrant them.

We will be going back real soon to explore some more... any who want to join us are welcome.

I am interested in valve adjustment help also. I am approaching 30 hrs, dealer wanted to check clearance at 30hrs. I will trust my limited knowledge over dealer. They left a cam retaining clip in the crankcase of a friends YZ450 (dropped it in the crankcase while installing new cam , and just put a new one on and left the other floating around)  - he found it in the desert
