Thanks 3TV. So all I will need is feeler gauge and other standard tools? Do you replace the gasket? Or is it re-usable? How do you rotate the crank for position? 20 questions...  :?

Hit 100 today. My little Rhino buddy (Brock - 14 months) Grandson's first time on the SeaDoo. I know this isn't Rhino related, but what the hell. My son tells me "Rhino" was probably the 5-6th word he learned and wants a ride every time he is over... now he knows "SeaDoo" . This kid is going to be fun  big_smile  Signed - proud "Grandpa"  8)

#1539 Re: General Discussion about Yamaha Rhinos » Rhino pricing » 2007-06-28 13:17:46

Bought my Sport in Feb for $10,300 - now they want retail + (11k I believe). Dealers will make all they can while they are in demand. Used market about the same, I haven't seen a 04'-05' 660 sell for less than 8k (been looking for my son).

Used Sport just posted in Salt lake City area for $13k - good deal. Perfect cond. 10 hrs, rear cage and seat (cage is cheap though - I would replace), console and new trailer. Not many for sale in the area, and they go fast... (except the 1 over priced, "pimped", custom (ugly) paint, 22" wheels, street tires, rear seat-no cage POS still listed... price is still going down after 45 days  wink  )

Jared, Justin, Ryan, anyone else (have referred some new Rhino owners to this site) - Will likely ride here often in July. If you have a Saturday free let me know and we can hook up. Maybe you should get out of the heat and join us Mark  8)   big_smile

Bombardier would likely be the best! I am impressed with their quad - V twin sounds nice - well built. Own a Seadoo XP Limited, great machine. I expect they would build a great UTV. They are usually last to roll them out though...

Honda will likely be next and have always put out a decent product.

#1542 Re: For Sale & Want Ads » For sale 06 Rhino450 » 2007-06-20 17:44:00

How about $100 - My son is dying to get one... he's young, married, 1 kid, and poor  lol $6500 sounds fair for this area - they are in demand here (a 660 with a fair asking price will sell in a day). The 450 runs about $8k new. Post some photos, that might help.

Blab  wink  (here I go) Looks a lot like a Rhino... but not as good IMO!
V Twin sounds good to me, but EFI would have made it better. You are right, UTV market should get interesting in a hurry!

Hello kalica - Welcome!

#1545 Re: General Discussion about Yamaha Rhinos » rhino valve adjustment » 2007-06-20 17:25:05

I was told 30 hrs initially and about every 100 hrs after that. I am interested in valve adjustment also - don't trust my local dealer to do anything... anyone know the details (clearances, etc.)? Mine is a 660.
