Haven't been able to give up on my Rock-n-Roll days... :?
Welcome Ramrod! Post some photos and give us your feedback on the Ranger. (My son thinking of buying the XP :? )
Ryan, I have only been on the extreme North end of that road (Squaw Peak) in a pickup. I will try and get the "scoop" on it and see if it is worth a ride. Definately interested in Maple canyon you guys decide to go.
So - my elec. fuel pump installed! Running rough, checked all my vac. lines and return lines - all ok. Re-adjusted my A/F mixture and it is fine. Will take it out Friday to test it - I will be staying close to the truck for now :?
Will let you know. Probably be a last minute decision.
Sorry I missed out
Got a fuse block and the electric fuel pump installed and now it runs like crap. Haven't had the time to diagnose...
Trying to finish my fuel pump install tonight (electric) Thanks for all the help/advice Ryan (Fasttrax)! Will try and make it out Sat.
I am guessing about 10-11 hrs - Google says about 11 hrs 18 minutes. My wife landed a part in a play, so I would have to go solo ![]()
Anyone had their fuel pump stop working? I can not find anything apparent that is wrong with it. Any recommendations on repair or replacing with electric? Thanks.
Funny story - went for a ride with my wife today to Mineral Flats. Got to the top of the trail (about 10,700' - 25 miles), turned around and made it 50 yards. Fuel pump not pumping any fuel. Machine has about 300 miles/35hrs on it. I am sweating it, no one on the trail (wussies without a Rhino:) and we crossed some very technical terrain (rock crawling). Knew I could coast some of it, but with out power we would not get over the rocks. Bypassed the pump, plugged the presure relief line with a stick, disconnected the return line and routed to the side of the passenger seat. Had my wife blow in to the line occasionally and then plug with her finger to keep presure in the tank. It worked!!! (I affectionetly been calling her "Fuel Pump":) No BJ jokes please! We made it back, could have been a very long day / night.
Here are a few photos from Sat. ride. Sorry for the blur. We had a great time

Holy S... weet!
I'm working on it... have a trade show 1st week of Sept. If I can get people to do their jobs and not need a babysitter
