We plan to leave by 10am. Should be at the dunes around 11:30. Get ready to ride! 8)
Rather than pulling our trailer out Friday night, we are going to bring the toys out early Saturday morning. For sure, we will be parked at White Sands. Give me a call Badley so we can be sure to meet up.
I'm not a good source of information for you, but let's keep this thread alive until we get you some help. There is surely someone here who can help you.
Yee gads, I totally missed this. I do realize that as I get older, my focus is in a downward spiral. Yea, I got the RC Truck, I'll surely bring it to the dunes Saturday. We're sure looking forward to hanging out with everyone. By the way, thanks for the Happy Birthday. ![]()

...Jack of All Trades...
Master of none? :?
You are so humble! 8)
well if a used rhino is 6-8 and a new one is only like 2K more for a basic one. Why not just get the new then? are the newer rhino's fuel injected?
That is how I would answer the question! FI would be be much better than the older carburated, I guess I am used to people trying to save a couple K. I believe a base model is still 10k, and start adding accessories and that will climb fast. Used markets has been high IMO, but there are deals out there and they are usually already accessorized. 13-15k would buy a trick (used) machine! It is all a matter of what fits your budget. I would rather have a new machine - break it in and take care of it to my standards and accessorize my way.
As for the "pissing match". IMO the biggest difference between a "buggy" and a UTV is scale! I will stand by what I BELIEVE are advantages of UTV's. My wife and I have always wanted to build an old Bronco for ??? We like trails, crawling, and Baja style riding - how do you build a machine that does all three well? At what cost? After seeing a Bro-in-law's Rhino we knew that was it! UTV's are very versitile machines and I can do some serious crawling with the same machine that I use at the Dunes and on the trails. The scale of this machine works very well for me - shop space, trailering (tow vehicle), recovery, economy, the list goes on... If you want to fair, compare your buggy to this:

If buggies are your thing that is great - we will all respect you and what you prefer. You should do the same. I have found UTV enthusiasts to be the best people anywhere! All of us that are in to Motorsports have much bigger enemies (than each other) like people trying to close down places we like to ride  !
I'll second Badley's comments and retrieve any previous attempt to send him to a Writing/English class. Badley, your a Jack of All Trades and continually amaze me. Hopefully in our get togethers you can continue to brush some wisdom off on me. 8)
Sure was a good time. Great backdrop, looking east, for the action. After seeing their stunts, I'm certain Moroni was watching over them all.
For sure...EVERYBODY IS ALWAYS WELCOME TO JOIN US...even Jared. There are some really great people here...the more the merrier on our rides. As you all can tell, we are always seeking a good time. We always find it too.
You trying to make Brad and I feel like crap because you didn't get a days notice that we were going to Little Sahara Saturday and even worse had an outstandingly GREAT TIME? FINE THEN...We'll make sure we invite you next time! Leave us to our misery now. ![]()
I wouldn't worry about missing the 50" limit, that will change as soon as you want new wheels. Besides, the treehuggers have shut down or hoged the good trails for their pot growing operations now.
Outstanding response. LMAO!!

Not a landing I like, but the RZR handled it well. I guess if I were competing in the long jump, that landing might make me a winner.

I saw KBR at the mountain, but the family wanted to go back to white sands. I saw only one other RZR and Rhino the whole day. Things started out a bit windy, but calmed down after 15 minutes or so after our arrival. The day ended up outstanding and the RZR performed flawlessly. Additionally, my kids got some time to do some jumping on their ATVs (they always look forward to the opportunity) which is good practice for them anyhow...especially when I'm around to help if they need it.
Before heading out, I put the paddles on and adjusted the calipers as Brad and I did when we were on Kane Creek. It was a bit easier without the tires on...I think I've got them just right. No noise from them now.
I would have liked to have more people with since we always have fun in a group, but it's a busy time of year for everyone...maybe next time.
I'm on my way in 5 minutes.....Lifted White/Gold 2008 F350. My RZR has a RZR Forums.Net Flag. See ya there.
