has anyone tried these HIDs in a RZR yet?

They look pretty cool. But...... the electrical system in the razr is not up to using more than a couple of those pups, and that may be a stretch.

I have been thinking about getting rid of the stock belts.  I would liike to see a pic of yours with the new belts if you could.  What type did you get?  I have seen doors on ebay.  I was thinking about having a local sheet metal place make me some doors.  How do they latch?

The belts I used were genearic 5 point belts I picked up from off road wherehouse. They are inexpensive and good quality.  The cratch strap is strapped to the cross bar the seat latches into. It is basically useless but it helps keep the other belts into place. The lap belts bolt into the oem mounts, and shoulder straps simply cinch over the rear bar. It works and is very simple.

Thanks for the tip on the doors I did not think to look on flea bay.

I did the same to mine. I jacked the suspension all the way up and it still rubs when I turn at full lock.

I am very sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine losing a child.
The rules have definitly changed for my Rhino.
I also believe you need to make it safer, before you think about making it faster! Awell built Roll bar is a must!

Yeah after reading this post I have re thought my past practices. With three kids from 7 to 15,  as is often the case you can make poor choices when it comes to safety. I know I have.  . In the navy we used to say Saftey rules were written in blood  for a reason.

Thank you for sharing your story. It is a heart felt and tragic lesson for all.

I have come to the conclussion the razor nets are more trouble than thay are worth.  The oem belts also failed first trip out by locking up. I installed a 5 point harness and I really like it. Now I want to find some half doors to replace the nets. Anyone use these?

When I purchaased the razor I got the baja kit. The oem lights in the baja kit are less than steller sp I upgraded to the hid soltech lights. OOPS. the razr can not run all five lights and the oem lights. In fact it cannot run the oem lights and three hid's.  Only two hid's and the oem stuff or three hid's. and even thne if you do a lot of low rpm stuff the battery will drain.

So anyone know of an upgrade for the charging system? or has anyone put in a larger battery?
