My families battery golf cart is broken and we are buying a new gold cart or UTV. My question is what is the life expectancy of a battery golf cart, a gass colf cart, and a UTV (preferably the Kawasaki Teryx). They would all be used for driving around my neighborhood, fishing, drifting in the grass, and for the UTV running over big rocks and a couple of jumps back in the woods in my neighborhood (south florida). Money is not an issue so what are the life expectancies and what would you recommend? Father and mother, one 16 year old son, and 2 daughters 18, 21. Daughters dont care, son wants the UTV very badly. Safety also counts, and my wife doesn't want to look like a country lady too much.
